Why would any guy watch it when they pointed out so often that it was a girl power thing? I wouldnt expect women to flock to a movie touted as being "Just for guys..." or " with men, by men, for men's voices". It is a foolish thing in either regard to deliberately cut out half the population and if you do and your product fails, it is your own fault.

Its the new type of film dialog from the outset. Where they do extreme closups of people faces and flip between them. They don't let the viewer see a bigger picture of the room (context shots), body language, interaction..... (you can see this start in the first 2 minutes of the film link below)

This is actually one of the reason why moden movies, tv series are failing. Your forced to look from the perspective of the producer / director not where the viewer wants to look from which is about the most disengaging expirence somebody can have when watching this modern shit...

This of course is quickly followed by silly physics like when a girl shoulder charges a guy whos 2-3x here size out of the way and he bounced across the room.... theres a point where normal real world physics have to be in check with reality... exceptions being things like "superman" where its expected to break the rules of reality

Thats all before you even start poking apart the massive plot holes in the script. Including the fact the script is basically been donw before which was also basically a copy of another script and replaced the charater leads.

Reminds me of the 'Girl Power' associated with the Spice Girls in the 1990s. A group of girls, chosen by men, prancing around on stage, singing songs written by men, and spouting the publicity written by men. Creativity doesn't come naturally or easily to the opposite sex, they know that the boys will come calling anyway. And taking responsibility is Kryptonite to Supergirl.
