So far you've got people being dicks (although funny) and bad advice.

I'm going to try to actually help and what you do with that is up to you.

greeting members of trp i hardly have any social skills so i considered learning tricks like coin rolling along your knuckles and pen spinning and stuff like that to maybe help me build a persona of some cool dude who just likes spinning thing and be hoped to be approached by people asking what i'm doing or how or something.

Absolutely, 100%, DO NOT DO THIS.

Why? Because it makes you the fool and doesn't solve your problem.

You've discovered your problem and now you're trying to fix it. THIS IS GREAT! You're already on your way. It's a long journey so steel yourself against giving up and getting discouraged.

Without knowing anything about you, I'd say you need a absolute minimum of 6 months to reach your first major success milestone. Maybe more, almost definitely not less.

FIRST: START WORKING OUT. You don't need a gym membership and you don't need supplements or protein powder. You need regular pushups, crunches and body weight squats. Look up online how to do each of these and do them every single day. If you can't do real pushups, do them with knees down till you can. Do sets of 5 for a total of 50 of each every single day. That's 50 pushups, 50 crunches and 50 squats. Every single day. Ignore all the other exercise stuff, (I'm assuming you're an extreme beginner. If that's not the case, you'll know how to scale things or ask me here or via PM.) and just do it. Once you can do 50 of one exercise in one go, up it by 25. Once you can do 200 of each in a day (doesn't have to be one set and probably around month 4) you're ready to add some weights.

This may seem long and tedious but you're building a foundation. Not just for your body but your mind. You're working hard at something difficult and once you reach your goal you'll know (not just think you know) one important thing. You are worth a damn and you have the power to change things that need changing. This is the basis of self confidence and SELF CONFIDENCE IS EVERYTHING.

SECOND: SOCIAL CONDITIONING. Just like #1, #2 will take time but follow these steps and you'll grow your social muscles as your body's muscles grow.

Go out every day to places where people are. That means get up, get dressed and go. If you're still in school this is easy but you need to not just be physically present. You need to be mentally present.

While you're out. Own the space. This means, don't physically apologize for existing by slouching and quickly skittering out of people's way. Stand straight (look up good posture if unsure) and walk with purpose. Be polite and avoid running into people but move slowly and smoothly. Practice smiling at home and use a small, confident smile while you walk by people. Make eye contact. If you have social anxiety (normal without ever practicing) this will slowly put you at ease and help the exercise to build your self confidence.

THIRD: READ. DROP THE VIDEO/COMPUTER GAMES.

Think of everything that won't help your goal as hurting your goal. Cut the non-value activities completely for these 6 months. You can decide once you know you're strong where to compromise.

What should you read? The sidebar of TRP has tons of material and you can start there. Nothing wrong with reading classics either. Reading will grow your mental dexterity and make you sharper of wit. Read for an hour each day AT AN ABSOLUTE MINIMUM.

Think of reading like traveling. The more you read/travel the less likely you are to get caught by one place or idea. You collect all the pieces and build your own ideas and your own filters for what is true/false, right/wrong, useful/useless.

Don't read tabloids or social media or opinion pieces. You need to build a frame before you can assess these and get anything but negatives from them.

FOURTH: EAT WELL AND SLEEP.

Eat good food. Cut candy and soda completely for these 6 months. Eat meat and vegetables with some carbs but not too many. Drink mainly water.

Doing this will give you the fuel your body needs and clear your head so you can think and be your own person without outside influences and constantly driven by hunger because you eat insubstantial things.

Sleep well. Wake up early. I wake up at 6AM each morning regardless of the day and my body tells me when it's tired. Sleep when you're tired at night. Turn off overhead lights and don't use an electric screen after 8pm as these artificially keep your mind awake.

Doing this will allow you to grow and recover as you should and do THE MOST towards mental clarity.

FIFTH: YOU GOTTA FUCKING WANT IT.

Self improvement intentions do nothing. If you want to succeed in life you have to set attainable goals and work towards them until you reach them, then set another loftier goal and reach it. There are no shortcuts, it's far from easy and nobody will make you or do it for you.

Commit and do this thing for 6 months. After that you can proceed to another goal. If you do, you'll have achieved so much that you'll be able to set your own goals in the right direction and change anything that you need to and actually use the advice given on TRP.

TRP calls this "monk mode" but I've modified it some to add some much needed social growth for you.

As you focus inwards, people may start to notice how you walk, talk, carry yourself and act. They may come up to you. That's fine. Just think of them as curious people. DON'T TALK ABOUT WHAT YOU'RE DOING IN THESE 6 MONTHS (the more you talk about goals, the more temporary reward your brain gives you without you having earned it as dopamine. You want the long term rewards which must be earned as serotonin). Don't give advice or tell them what they should do. Just chat if they want to and be friendly. If women start to notice, don't freak out. Just be friendly and carry on your secret mission.

CONCLUSION: You'll trip up, miss days, stutter, slouch and a ton of other things. Just carry on. The mission is the most important thing. You can only fail if you stop trying and you can only cheat yourself.

I wrote you a fucking book because this exact advice would have saved me YEARS and countless mistakes had I learned and challenged myself when I was as young as you are.

I'm guessing you recently read "The Game" or "Mystery Method". I couldn't wrap my head around the card tricks, palm reading, etc used in either book. It must be something very outdated that only fit the early 2000's.

If you're high value & have game you'll never have to use any routines or tricks to pull girls.
