We’ve seen it time and time again. Ask men what % of women they find attractive. Ask women what % of men they find attractive. The former will usually say they find most men ugly.

How many times have you ever heard a woman say something along the lines of “omg, there’s like no attractive man in my city” while being a 6/10 and a 3-4/10 without makeup? It’s not that there aren’t attractive men. It’s that men, due a combination of their higher sex drives and makeup/cosmetics being more common in women, OVERRATE women.

Attraction is all about perception and demand. It’s been shown that women consistently underrate men at first glance and men consistently overrate women at first glance. Every woman has experienced the phenomena of finding a man physically unattractive at first and then suddenly finding him attractive once they like the guy and their perception changes. It’s not that the guy’s personality overcomes his looks. It’s that their physical attractiveness quite literally changes in the woman’s eyes. Every man also has experienced the phenomena of seeing a woman at first glance, think she’s exceptionally beautiful, and then suddenly realizing she wasn’t as beautiful as she thought. She was never as beautiful as you thought. You simply were enamored for a bit due to the factors I mentioned which caused you to overrate her.
