if girls try to set the first date at a restaurant or something that requires money, it's because they want you to pay for them. they want to use you for money and then leave without doing anything sexual because they aren't interested.

in this situation it sounds a little different, but honestly from some of your comments it sounds like this bitch is a total smoke show, high maintenance etc. wouldnt be worth my time but hey its your situation not mine.

here's the real question: is the boat festival something you'd still want to do without her? if it's something you actually have interest in and would still be conducive to you gaming her and kino etc then fuck it man. if you get there and she's still playing her games, leave her ass and enjoy the boat festival lol maybe game up some other girls.

another thing that matters that you havent told us (and would be hard to communicate to us) is how she perceives you up until this point. how attracted she is to you, how your interactions have been thus far, etc. you should reflect on how things have been up until this point and how alpha/attractive you are objectively. this may offer clues to her games, or she could just be a crazy south american chick (wouldn't be the first one).

things to consider:

are you interested in the boat festival?

how have your interactions been up until now?

how attractive are you/how attracted to you is she?

is she hot enough for all this to be worth it?

I wouldn't do it. First dates have to be short and sweet. You're only screening. What if you don't like her? You're stuck with her. I would tell her 'i don't do festival's for first dates'. That's what I said to this girl on IG who suggested we meet at a rave. I said I don't do raves for first dates. We went to a view point to smoke and I had her on my lap with my tongue in her mouth and my hand on her breast that night.

It's ok sometimes to sit back & allow her to set the date. You'll know very easily if there are any red flags. For example an expensive date at your expense or something that very far away she most likely just needs someone to drive her & doesn't give a fuck about you going.

I recently went to a fair in another city with a date (her idea). She drove & we didn't even pay for rides so there was no issue.

I prefer to pick the place. Time I'm flexible within 1 hr or so.

I pick place because I'm familiar with certain bar's layout, and it's easier for me to initiate kino. I also stick to a budget so that I don't get dragged around to expensive palaces just so the woman can use me for drinks.
