It's been just shy of a month since my STBXW left the house, after a 2 month co-habited separation.

The day before she left, I got a letter from her lawyer informing me of her intent to apply for divorce, and advising me I cooperate as quickly as possible.

It's been a month and I haven't received the papers.

What kind of game could this be?

I can only assume it's some kind of attempt to artificially extend the length of the marriage for settlement gains, or she's trying to get me to do it so I pay the fees.

Ive spoken to other dicorced men who tell me it should be a matter of days after applications.
