Physical attractiveness more strongly affects social mobility (education, occupation, and income) for males than females.

Fertile women were particularly sexually attracted to arrogant, confrontational, unfaithful, muscular, tall, and physically attractive men. Female fertility did not influence the attraction to financial success, intelligence, and kindness.

Young women are less likely to intend to use a condom with a more facially attractive male partner, and over 50% of non-virgin women report having intentionally employed a tactic (excluding other preventative birth control methods) to prevent/inhibit effective condom usage

Women and their parents indicated that ambition and intelligence were more important than physical attractiveness for a long-term mate. However, both daughters (68.7%) and their parents (63.3%) chose the more attractive man as the best long-term partner for mating, regardless of his ascribed traits.

Women view taller men as more physically attractive, more masculine, and having a greater fighting ability. Higher shoulder-to-hip ratios were rated as more attractive in taller men but did not influence attractiveness ratings for shorter men.

Not keen on this study, I'm not sure if the sex causes the depression or the girls that seeked sex before 17 had other issues going on such as mental illness/abuse

The sex differences are more pertinent than the cause and effect.

[–]IceCat767 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You should be keen on it idiot. Females brains are different and do not operate on "every hole is a goal" type thing that mens do. Most under age girls are co-ersed or tricked into sex with undesirable men so it makes perfect sense

An example of how sex isn't necessarily a win.

[–]BOYMAN7 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link

But we aren't winning either man

[–]tinyhermione 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

But don't you see the point? This study shows sex doesn't necessarily make people happier at all.

[–]BOYMAN7 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

Yes, I see the point, it was a good point. Do you believe in the black pill?

[–]tinyhermione 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

Nah. Someone recommended this sub to me, thought I'd check it out.

[–]BOYMAN7 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

The more black pill philosophy you see the truer it becomes so I advise you to not look into it too much unless you want to be black pilled. Your motivation will decrease significantly if you believe in the black pill

I'm coming a bit from the outside here. I'm a woman and I'm just curious about the way of thinking. However, I'll never be blackpilled bc I know I've slept with and been head over heels in love with the kind of guys y'all think are undatable.

Idk. I think maybe try to think about how these people know what women want? Have they got many close friends who are women? Are they women themselves? Do they have many relationships with women that have taught them what women want? Have they seduced many women so they can say what works?

Or did they all just watch the same YouTube video?

I'm not trying to be mean. However, they say things I know are false. That I want to sleep with men who give me the ick. That I don't want to sleep with the guys I'm really into. Idk. It just doesn't add up in real life.

[–]BOYMAN7 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Well, you have a point. However, I don't believe that the black pill is the way you describe it. It's not only because of looks or height, that's one important factor. But what we have here is guys that don't fit into society or get along with women and that's just how it is. Whatever the reason is doesn't matter because they have tried.

We are not valued, people don't like us, people are not interested and why would they. We don't have to enough to offer and looks is a big part of that. Your personal anecdotes are not going to change anything for us. Some might not be ugly but genetically inclined to be depressed and pessimistic. We are very nihilistic people and if you around very nihilistic people you are likely going to become more nihilistic.

Some might not be ugly but genetically inclined to be depressed and pessimistic. We are very nihilistic people and if you around very nihilistic people you are likely going to become more nihilistic.

Are you sure it's such a good idea then? As you say if "you around very nihilistic people you are likely going to become more nihilistic." Y'all might be just very depressed, but making each other's depression worse.

If I joined a community that was "all men are trash and we'll die alone". I'd get depressed. I'd also be impossible to date,bc if I met a kind man I'd yell "get away from me, you dumb slut! You are just settling for me anyways!!" . And the guy would just shake his head and think "that girl's crazy. Too bad, I was kinda into her before". I'm being jokey, but you get my point.

Social stuff you can actually work on. If you want to. I was an incredibly awkward kid. Got the job I have now in part bc of my "great people skills ". I just worked on it. There are several ways.

1) Be as social as you can be. Join hobbies or activities.

2) Try to find your people. Friends are like puzzle pieces, you need to find the people you click with. Takes a while.

3) Observe people. Watch silly reality shows, read books, observe people in real life. Be curious. Try to figure out why people do what they do and how you can read them.

4) If you are depressed, go to therapy. A good therapist can also help you work on your social skills.

5) There are specific books etc about social skills, unwritten social codes, dating etc etc

6) Just try and fail and try and fail. You learn something when you do something clumsy with other people. Apologize, learn, do better next time. Don't expect perfection from yourself, then you'll never risk trying.

7) To get a girlfriend, you have to be socially active. Most couples meet in social settings, few couples met online. It's just a psychological phenomena. We fall more easily in love with someone we meet through our friends and we're more likely to have something in common with them.

8) Building up a friend group takes time. Look for people who are kind and who you click with.

I might try some of the things you listed.

Are you sure it's such a good idea then? As you say if "you around very nihilistic people you are likely going to become more nihilistic." Y'all might be just very depressed, but making each other's depression worse.

This is very true but right now there is no turning back, I will have to go through with it and then find a better way.
