Happened to my dad. His ex-wife knew falsely accusing him of abusing me would give her a leg up in her custody case for my half-sister. The police determined she was lying but there are no consequences for it and she got what she wanted. She was able to drag out the custody case for years until my half-sister turned 18 and dad had been bled of tens of thousands of dollars in lawyer fees. Evil woman. I warn my son not to even talk to feminists. Having one in your life even as a distant aquaintance isn't worth the risk.

There’s no legal consequences for lying during divorce. Melissa isaak pointed this out, couple could have been together for a decade no interaction with the police but when they get to divorce proceedings, suddenly the wife is seeking protection becoz the guy was abusing her yet she never reported it to the police at anytime or the worst accusation is he was inappropriate with the kids. Even if the guy’s lawyer proves it’s a false charge this doesn’t count against the woman when deciding custody. Which I find to be total BS I don’t believe it’s in the best interest of the children to be with a vindictive parent who would ruin the parent- child bond so as to get extra money.

It's funny that feminists claim that false accusations (of rape or DV) are "incredibly rare".

They are not. They happen dozens of times more than actual (proven) abuse, because a massive portion of divorce lawyers advice their female clients to claim abuse in order to get the kids or more money. Ironic when the actual DV rate is something like 1%, yet 50% of marriages end up in divorce (70% of which initiated by women) with almost all of them claiming some type of abuse or another. Obviously the numbers don't add up.

But those false allegations are not counted in official FBI statistics.

If the principle of the assumption of innocence until proven guilty was upheld strictly this wouldn't be an issue in terms of criminal justice. Family court may have some additional considerations

Bro people don’t realize a lot lot of women will lie or say anything in divorce court to win..it’s crazy how that could of been your partner of 10 years that you claimed to care about them but as soon as they leave they are like a stranger and you have zero problems accusing them of one of the most heinous crimes a human can commit..some women are just straight up evil..

Happened to my dad as well. Even after all the lies he still got 50/50. I knew my mom was lying because she was all copacetic with him, even going out with him and me a few times in a friendly way. Then she wanted more child support and all the sudden all these monstrous things apparently happened.

She even told me the disgusting lies, I was just 15.

I will never understand how a very intelligent man like my step dad doesn't just fear for his life around that lady given what she did to my dad.

One of my family friend is a pastor. He told us that when his daughter got divorce case filed, the lawyer asked her to put some additional sections to make the case strong. Indian judiciary is a joke. There is no accountability. Total shit show.
