In their 30s, 70% of men and women are in relationships at a give time. That means that not 30% are never in relationships, but rather half of them do not want to be in a relationship and the other half is looking for a relationship and most of them are finding that relationship, while others, who are in relationships become single again.

Forever alone against their will is a super tiny fraction of men and women. It doesn't get harder for them to find someone, but they will stand out more.

Everytime you read some statistic like 50% of men below the age of 30 are single, compared to only 32% of women, you need to ask yourself: how should that be possible?

Are there more men than women? No.

Who are the women in relationships with? Older men >30yo? When the average age gap is 2 years that men are older, and a quarter of women in their 20s need to be in relationships with men >30yo for the statistic, then this means: committed relationships happen mostly in the late twenties for that bracket and that is exactly the point where age preferences put a quarter of the relationship partners into the next age bracket.

%chance of being in a relationship increases with age and women are just 2 years ahead of men in that percentage, because of age gap preferences.

ALSO: Single status includes casual dating. Only long term committed relationship means you are no longer single for the statistic.

Things have never been easier for men than now if you live in the West. You have education, plenty of jobs, no wars, no serious diseases, no fighting barbarism hordes, or having to hunt animals to survive another day.

If anything, the lack of a lot of these things have made men soft and boyish. Instead of going out in the real world and doing shit and going after fertile females, men hang out in the nursery playing video games, smoking pot and jerking off to porn. It's nice and cozy, it's easy and you don't have to risk anything. You also don't get to earn anything other than CoD bragging rights and porn induced ED.

The real world is outside. Women are walking around in tight yoga pants and knee high go go boots waiting for men to come and take them. If you are a man today, it means that your genes have survived since the beginning of life on Earth itself, billions of years ago. Your ancestors managed to procreate before they died. Chances are at least some of your ancestors held a sword and killed another man. Your ancestors definitely held a spear and chased mammoths across the plains of Africa and Europe.

And here you are, shaking in your boots because some thot on TikTok says she only likes guys who are 6'5" and above.

No, reproductive instincts are too hardwired in us humans to ever be at peace with the idea of never fulfilling it. Not that I am claiming to know where this all leads the society but people who are left out will never come to terms with such a sad fact, they might suck it up but not accept. Never.

Plus the somebody for everyone narrative exists in all literature and other art and you cannot cancel it overnight, not even in few decades.

In general, more young men having trouble with dating is a symptom of larger economic and social issues in society that are affecting men and boys.

Lack of economic security, rising unemployment rates, the growing education gap. The mistake we made was not removing barriers for women to achieve equality, it was not giving men and boys the blueprint to replace traditional ideals of sexism, machoism, breadwinning, fighting wars with something else. Add to that increasing isolation due to technology and the breakdown of traditional social structures like church, AND the fact that so many boys today are raised without fathers or male role models, and many more who do have dads in the house but are getting no guidance from them because they’re too busy working and looking for validation and self worth from their corporate masters.

The manosphere/right wing only wants to turn back the clock. The left is vocal about what bad/toxic masculinity looks like but doesn’t seem to have too many examples to share of what good masculinity looks like.

We can’t wait for politicians or the mens rights movement scam to actually start giving a shit about boys and men. What’s going to change things for the next generation is all about how we collectively raise our boys. And that’s going to require us to rethink a lot of things we value and believe in America. And yes that includes the default assumption that helping men inherently harms women.

Yes it will keep getting harder and they probably will be alone forever. Alone forever in the sense genuine alone forever and probably their only thing they will cope with will be paying for a women company or sex or travelling to asian countries for partner or in some rare cases beta buxxing
