Accept gracefully what he gives you and give something back.

So for example express how much you appreciate it, thank him, acknowledge his effort if he plans something special, etc. Don't complain or criticize where he takes you (you can express preferences ofc). Be pleasant and generally joyful.

If you want to bake him cookies, do! I don't see why you should wait until he asks you to be his girlfriend. It's cookies. If it brings you joy to do it, share this joy with him.

I've found it helpful to understand his love language that way you aren't shooting in the dark to show appreciation- if he scores high for affirmations, then that's the way to go.

As a man who makes his own fine living and his own home (cooks, cleans, decorates, maintains), the only two things I would expect from a woman would be one, to enrich my soul by engaging in meaningful conversations with me, sharing and discussing ideas with me, challenging my intelligence; and two, to be an excellent mother to our kids.

In all honesty, I couldn't care less about words of affirmation or cookies. I bake my own cookies and don't need affirmation to know who I am or what I'm doing. These are very easy things to do, unlike true companionship and successful motherhood.

If he's leading and he's the bread provider then submit your ass to him. Cook for him, clean for him, stay loyal and make an effort to stay attractive. Full text: Ive recently reflected on my previous dating experiences and realized I'm sick of always planning dates, deciding when and where we go, texting him first, etc. and have decided I want a man who will lead and pursue. Well, I actually met a guy just like this. He's tall, confident, leads the conversations, and plans the dates and decides on a day and time. I'm absolutely head over heels for this new energy, and I love cultivating my femininity.

How do I best do my part of this dynamic? Do I give him positive affirmations that he's doing great, maybe I do something simple like make some cookies and bring him some on our next date? I'm kind of lost because I love this new energy but I want to make sure I'm doing my part and not just leaving him to do all the work. We are taking things very slow. Thanks!

Can someone correct me if im wrong but doesnt this sound like you have no imagination or knowledge of what you want? Like do you have places you want to see in the world, concerts you want to see, things you want to do- wouldnt even just making those known be you “leading” in some way? like do you want to be a child shown the world by a knowledgable parent? im not trying to be mean and hopefully im wrong but it just sounds like you have no innate desires or relationship to the world or God independent of the man which is disturbing and pathetic unless this just refers to being courted like small dates and stuff, like occasional treats
