no i dont refer to male pos' as misogynists i refer to misogynists as misogynists ahhahaa r u dumb

[+]DragonflyAromatic793 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

no because there are only 2 genders. cry about it.

[+]Tubaperson 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Wait so you refer to male POS as mysogynists even if they aren't mysogynistic? See the fault in your logic there.

Also there is a 3rd gender (intersex) granted it is only a small percentage and switch to either male or Female but it still occurs natually just like male and female.

Also it is more effort to call someone a mysogynist instead of calling them a POS or a shitbag. Plus shitbag is more fun to say

[–]Tubaperson 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

I don't believe in this "mysandery" and "mysogyny" I just see people as pieces of shit when they are and not when they are not.

these terms scare people cause of the implications. thus creating more Division.

[+]DragonflyAromatic793 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

no these terms are as useful as any word is. because it describes someone who is a pos to a specific group of people.

[+]Tubaperson 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Did u read my comment? I LITERALLY SAID THAT THESE "TERMS" are stupid if since you can already see people as a POS.

Also Mysandry and mysogony only referes to 2 genders when people identifizieren as non-binary so just say that they are a POS and be done with it.

O I completely agree that anti-male bias does not negate the existence of anti-female bias.

The problem is that feminism acts as though anti-male bias does not and CANNOT exist, and then does everything it can to obfuscate anti-male bias, even when they themselves are the ones actively promoting anti-male bias while denying that it exists.

I'm not saying I want to hate on women. I just want anti-male bias to be recognized and taken even 20% as seriously as we take anti-female bias, but almost everyone it's brought up to seems to automatically believe you must be a misogynistic woman-hating incel if you believe that men face issues as well.

>63% longer prison sentences for the same crime.

[This paper assesses gender disparities in federal criminal cases. It finds large gender gaps favoring women throughout the sentence length distribution (averaging over 60%), conditional on arrest offense, criminal history, and other pre-charge observables. Female arrestees are also significantly likelier to avoid charges and convictions entirely, and twice as likely to avoid incarceration if convicted.](https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=2144002)

>Lower grades for the same work by mostly female teachers.

[Teachers 'give higher marks to girls'](https://www.bbc.com/news/education-31751672)

>Little-no protection/organizations for male victims of abuse (especially ones victimized by females).

Literally the [Duluth model](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duluth_model#Criticism), the most widely used domestic abuse policy around the world, pioneered by feminists.

>Anti-male laws.

How many countries have mandatory military service only for women, vs only for men? How many countries have made female genital mutilation illegal, vs how many countries made male genital mutilation (circumcision) illegal? Also virtually every divorce law that favours women over men.

Reddit is also kind of weird with a new update or something, and I have no idea what this message will look like, so I'll just post this for now and see what happens.

I will say I am not at all fan of the new changes.

[–]Lavender_Llama_life 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I would, though, posit that the existence of anti-male bias does not negate the existence of anti-female bias.

[–]Lavender_Llama_life 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

These are all well worth reading. I’m new to Reddit, so I’m not sure what the old format looked like. I was able to find and read this reply, though, so that seems to work well enough.

[–]weirdo_nb 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Feminism at the core is not supporting misandry as feminism's true goal is equality between male and female and since currently women are the "lesser class" that is why the feminist movement is called the feminist movement

[–]Lavender_Llama_life 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

They both exist and they both suck. More importantly, men can be misandrists and women can be misogynists. Nothing good comes from any of it.

[–]Valuable_Following_2 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago* (3 children) | Copy Link

Actual misogyny is almost nonexistent. Always has been. 99.9% of the time it's a buzzword used against males who don't simp for females 24/7, or when females get their feelings hurt.

Meanwhile, misandry gets males:

  • 63% longer prison sentences for the same crime.

  • Lower grades for the same work by mostly female teachers.

  • Little-no protection/organizations for male victims of abuse (especially ones victimized by females).

  • Anti-male laws.

  • Biased family/divorce courts in favor of females.

  • 80% of suicide victims.

  • Sexism in favor of females in college/job applications, even when a male and female applicant have the same qualifications.

  • No reproductive rights, even when victims of rape by females.

  • 70-90% of homeless population.

  • 80% of murder victims worldwide.

  • 99% of war/military deaths.

  • 93% of workplace deaths.

  • All while being blamed for all of the above.

I could go on and on. So excuse me if I'm not particularly concerned with muh soggy knees.

[–]Lavender_Llama_life 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

I’d be happy to see scholastic literature supporting literally any of what you said above.

[–]BCRE8TVE 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Literally all of that is supported by literature. Which part would you like sources for?

[–]Lavender_Llama_life 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Take your pick, I guess.

[–]Frird2008 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Misogyny & misandry, from the logical definition in Oxford Dictionary, are equally bad. Don't let the emotions of feminism or the left-wing convince you that they're unequal in severity.

[–]Mohm2d 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It exists now that the roles have changed

[–]josencarnacao 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Misogyny and Misandry are faces of the same coin.
Both are actions caused by people that still have to sort out their Emotional Intelligence, understand SONDER, and get out of the fucking hole in their mind where they hide from trying to understand other people, regardless of sex and sexual orientation.

[–]askntithies 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Misogyny doesn't exist it's just a response to misandry 🤭🤭🤭

[–]aBlackKing 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Sure there’s misogyny, but right now it’s not women who are really suffering the most. I assume most of this sub believes that men are the ones who are suffering the most and the “issues” women complain about are for the most part first world problems. The right to vote, work without discrimination, life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness. Women have that. And they have even more with affirmative action and preferential treatment from society and especially the government. Notably the right to not only divorce, but also have custody of the children the vast majority of the time which results in men having to forfeit a huge chunk of their income and the house they have to the ex-wife.

[–]Any_Afternoon7372 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Actually that’s because men don’t seek custody most of the time, when they do it’s pretty equal across genders.

[–]Valuable_Following_2 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Nope. You're completely wrong. It's actually laughable you even wrote that, especially with the countless stories from men who have shared that they have been destroyed by women in family/divorce courts when it comes to custody, child support, alimony, etc. The OP had it right.

Even when the man is clearly more fit to take care of the children than the woman, she is still given full custody. There are literally men fighting to even get an afternoon with their children.

Maybe try not to lie and downplay the major sexism problem towards men in family/divorce courts.

[+]ZanaCZ 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

what about middle east? there is misogyny, just not as much in the west.

[–]lordmainstream 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Of course there’s misogyny, there will always be men hating women for only being women.

What i don’t believe to be true is the notion that we live in a misogynist society.

I don't think men have ever hated women from army drafting to protect them and the children, as well as chivalry towards women holding doors and opening them for them. of course there are a few rotten tomatoes

[–]BloomerBlorbZ 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Now we had first world westerner misandrist terrorists are targeting men & boys with their false allegations and death threats, while women/girls wants The "666 Chad" since all good men are now gone.

[–]JustaTcup 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

The mark of the beast chads are all F boys. You can keep em'. Some of us are looking for our 555 kings instead.

[–]BloomerBlorbZ 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

....which is they're taking way too far ahead

[–]BloomerBlorbZ 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

When I said 666 Chads, I meant that toxic, post modernism western women/girls wants 10% of men who 6ft tall, making 6 packs from their careers, and wanting to have 6 long inch of men's penis. Even some women wants the 777 Giga Chad

[–]JustaTcup 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Oh I know what it meant but it's the dang MotB. Some of us have NO use for huge men, just want tradesmen, and don't care about penis size.

My bad I DID forget what the third 6 was for lol or I would have said "Some of us are looking for our 554/3 kings" instead.

[–]BloomerBlorbZ 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

However, since there were domestic violence and hyper negative sexist gender stereotypes back in the decades & centuries in the west, everything in the west has already evolve in backwards.

[–]BloomerBlorbZ 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Misogyny DOES exist if you're from second to the third world non-western countries. I've seen fucked up disturbing shits of people reacting femicides on gore websites (such as Ogrish for an example) of torturing innocent human beings.

[–]JustaTcup 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I'm so proud of how people are voting on this one. Misandry is just as important.

Maybe even more important since women have a higher access level to children than men generally do.

[–]denisc9918 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Of course it does!
The word now covers everything from a "mild disklike of" all the way to "Hatred for", bit hard to not find *somebody* in that range.
Incredibly handy word, you can chuck it at almost anyone and not be provably wrong.
It's also a good word to prove how despicable anyone using it is.

[–]PlasmaMorpho91 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I'm a living example

[–]MagentaSteam 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

😂😂😂 Options 1 and 2 people, explain. Wut do yu mean there’s nu massage a knee????

[–]nyarlathotep999 5 points6 points7 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

also, the meaning of misogyny has been grossly distorted over the years to include many things that merely inconvenience women.

[–]Ecstatic-Ad-8967 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Why is this poll on here

[–]CatsCats1029384756 4 points5 points6 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Dunno lol

[–]Dat1Kid25 4 points5 points6 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Who the freak put option 1 and 2 💀

[–]B1G_Fan 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I know right? I was torn between option 3 and 4. Mainly because I'm down with women becoming the real life Rosie the Riveter, especially if it brings down the time and money necessary to get my car fixed. But, with female workforce participation plateauing since the 1990s, women failing to step up to become auto mechanics, and males choosing to enjoy the Peter Pan lifestyle because they don't see happy marriages on the horizon, it's past time to survey the wreckage that feminism has wrought
