On the one hand I have to question if this is even real. Stories like this keep support for America's police state high.

On the other hand, there is no way this could happen in a country that was more casual about sex and nudity.

Imagine a teenager who could simply say..."Yeah...everyone here already saw me naked at the local spa. Nice try though."

Or imagine one that did not resort to instagram in the hopes of finding a girlfriend...since in America the usual and natural routes are so often closed.

This stuff happened to lead to Amanda Todd's and it became international news, with pushes from the whole education system to educate on extortion cases like this. But this had a sudden resurgence in the past 2 years since the pandemic, leading to dozens of suicides in just Minnesota alone, and not a single thing is being done about it.

Can anyone currently in school tell me if there is any attempt at educating people about this extortion? Can people start suggesting to their school staff to hold assemblies or something to educate students?
