China scares me. If they get increased influences we will all lose our rights. Government surveilance at all times, social credits and repressed speech.
[–]heeroena 3 points4 points5 points 3 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
Has nothing to do with patriarchy or matriarchy and the social credit system is already taking place in the west courtesy of WEF
[–]Standard-Broccoli107 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
When you talk about East vs West then of course the oppression of the East matters.
[–]heeroena -1 points0 points1 point 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
What oppression?
[–]Standard-Broccoli107 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Read the thread.

I think Americans are more scarier than China.
[–]Standard-Broccoli107 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (20 children) | Copy Link
How?
[–]PheonixJ 4 points5 points6 points 3 years ago* (18 children) | Copy Link
War business and feminism business. In both cases men are going to suffer and women will suffer in the long run. Corporates are just using feminism to exploit and destroy the common people in the west.
[–]Standard-Broccoli107 -1 points0 points1 point 3 years ago (17 children) | Copy Link
Feminism is women shouting at you for not doing what you are told. In china you can litterally be put in labourcamps for not doing what you are told.
[–]denisc9918 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (15 children) | Copy Link
You only addressed 1 of the 3 things mentioned. Think about all 3 together.
[–]Standard-Broccoli107 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (14 children) | Copy Link
Doesnt change anything. First off, how is business a bad thing? And war sure is bad, but id rather be at war than repressed and incapable of controlling my life.
[–]PheonixJ 3 points4 points5 points 3 years ago* (13 children) | Copy Link
War business means making money out of weopen sales from war. Men are the ones who have to die all the time. And Americans have been playing this war games for long time. First there targets where muslim countries and now christian countries ass well.
[–]Standard-Broccoli107 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (12 children) | Copy Link
America has warprofiteers, China has litteral concentration camps. I know which I prefer.
[–]PheonixJ -1 points0 points1 point 3 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link
I am not justifying chinese, but americans are not any better.
[–]nineteenletterslong_ -1 points0 points1 point 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
if i'm outside china, their concentration camps don't affect me, but american bombs do
that's true but it's only a problem in china.
when this comes about in europe it's going to be because of america funding far right parties, not china.
america already has the highest incarceration rate in the world, and a quarter of all prisoners in the world with only 4,25% of the world population
they're bombing and have bombed many more countries and have great influence on those they're not bombing too

The Patriot Act stomped all over your right didn't it? It seems to me that your rights are getting eroded every day.
Government surveilance at all times
You didn't learn anything from Snowden, Assange, etc ?
social credits
What's your credit score for?
repressed speech
Oh, please. smh
Seems like you already have all of your fears about China.
[–]Standard-Broccoli107 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link
Absurd comparisons. A lot of the things you mention are worrisome, but its several orders of magnitude smaller than the chinese versions. The most glaring example is comparing credit score, which banks use to figure out if you are a reliable debitor that only looks at your payment history on debt to social credit score that uses facial recognition to know exactly where you are and electrical signals to know how much time you spend gaming.
[–]denisc9918 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link
<shrug> I think it's absurd to be scared of China who may, or may not, ever get enough influence to take away all our rights, but hey you do you. I'm vastly more concerned about my government that can get at me right now.
[–]Standard-Broccoli107 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
I think its absurd to not be informed on what happens around the world, but you do you.
[–]denisc9918 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
I'm Australian.
[–]Standard-Broccoli107 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
So why are you so concerned about american policies but not chinas? Your whole argument was that you were scared about your own government.
[–]denisc9918 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Your whole argument was that you were scared about your own government.
NONE of my argument was about my gov.
all over your right didn't
me that your rights are
You didn't learn
your credit score
That's all your gov mate not mine. Fk me, how many clues do you need. You're demonstrating a pretty low level of comprehension skills there mate.
The only mention of mine was in the last comment "I'm vastly more concerned about my government" because they can get at me right now just like yours can get at you!
I'm not "concerned about american policies but not chinas" I'm actually not worried about China at all. America being a dying war-mongering superpower with a huge nuke arsenal is vastly more dangerous to the wotld than China.
I think its absurd to not be informed on what happens around the world,
Yeah, I agree. Maybe you should brush up on it a bit.
[–]Standard-Broccoli107 -1 points0 points1 point 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
It wasnt? I must have dreamed that you wrote:
I'm vastly more concerned about my government that can get at me right now. That's all your gov mate not mine.
I'm vastly more concerned about my government that can get at me right now.
That's all your gov mate not mine.
But im not american, nor have I ever said I was, you just started ranting about american phenomenons.
[–]denisc9918 -1 points0 points1 point 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Except for the last sentence everything you just said was covered im my post that you just replied to! Wtf,do you actually read anything?
But im not american
<shrug> I don't really care. I presumed you were based on your initial we will all lose our rights and you didn't bother correcting me in your first reply. Your incredibly american like: attitude, lack of knowledge & comprehension and arrogance didn't give me any cause to reconsider.
You somehow can't read or retain a few sentences here how on earth could you have any real idea about what's going on in the world.

I think as a society we might need to be willing to make some trade offs. Surveillance vs crime for instance. Are you willing to have a camera in your workplace, school and streets in exchange for lower crime rates?
Absolutely, tradeoffs need to happen. In that example our right to privacy is balanced against our right to property. The issues with authoritarian governments is that they use the surveilance to go further than to protect citizens. They might need a camera on a streetcorner to stop crime, but do they need automatic facial recognition that logs everyone that walks past at all time?

China's influence is hanging by a thread. I'm not saying they aren't a threat, but their general incompetence has trashed their country and I wouldn't be at all shocked if a collapse is coming.
Honestly I hope you are correct. Mid 2010s looked really dangerous when they started getting significant influence in Africa.

Dont really know that because of nuclear power and all. And now wealthy feminised countries are rulling the world. But in the past there were no major matriarchal society. Now also the west is not Matriarchal in the true sense. As there are few business men (corporates) and rich elites who is taking all the benefits of feminism and all other immoral ways to make money.
[–]noserotonyn 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Demographic power is greater than nuclear power. The fate of the west is already sealed. No amount of commissioned studies or media manipulation will save the neck of a corrupt feminized elite.
[–]tiredfromlife2019 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
If by East you mean China, then China is also matriarchal.
True Patriarchy would be women out of the workforce and having kids and being married but the women don't do that. There are youtube videos of chinese feminist women.
