That will admit to it, the feminists who block males from access to services are right in that if they were served the same the male figures would skyrocket, especially if social stigma for receiving help was reduced.

This is shabby treatment for male victims. These councils are literally doing the least they can do.

This is very much true. I've talked to people that work in my local DV resources and they've told me that men aren't allowed on the premises of shelters, and they do have a program for getting men who need it hotels.... but the fund for it is just about always empty so they just turn men away.

Male victims of domestic abuse are currently subsumed into the Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) strategy, making them "male victims of crimes considered violence against women and girls" which is self-evidently ludicrous and offensive.

Male victims of domestic abuse are ignored, belittled and revictimized by society. I hope the younger generations are working to help open up the shelters for male victims. I donated this year to the men and families shelter in Toronto and hope that similar shelters are opened around the world

Historically men who abused their wives were punished in a range of ways. Typically men who were abused by their wives would be given the same punishments. Apart from the methods of punishment nothing has changed.
