Nope. Some call register-her a doxxing site, but it's not. SRS was just caught doing it again the other day, but the admins turned another blind eye to it.

This smear derives from a few different sites:

The Ariana Pattek debacle (which Elam held his hand up for, an important point seldom acknowledged).
Relatedly, on Reddit, this sub- got spanked when intortus, a Reddit admin, applied Reddit's nigh-on-unintelligible rules about what is and what is not doxxing in a manner seeemingly inconsistent with previous actions, as Legolas calmly pointed out (and was ignored).
It may be that it is Register Her, a site hosted by AVfM, people have in mind. As you can see, it does not dox in any way, unlike feminist site Name the Problem (which I cannot link to). Lots of us still wish AVfM would get rid of it nonetheless, as it's fairly tacky.

It's all pretty weak sauce, frankly. That this is the best the MRM's enemies can come up with even with some of the more obsessed quote-mining this sub- on a daily basis ought to demonstrate that actually the MRM is a pretty benign phenomenon. Look at real world actions where this stuff is easier to discern, and you'll pretty quickly see the difference between the MRM and feminism. The MRM wants people to acknowledge the problems facing men and boys; feminists want to silence them.

The really staggering irony here is that you're here from a thread linking Amanda Marcotte's latest secretion. I don't think any lectures on political morality coming from her are likely to be heeded. Let's remind ourselves (courtesy of Cathy Young) of Amanda Marcotte's iconoclastic sense of political morality, shall we?

In 2006-2007, Marcotte emerged as a leader of the cyber-lynch mob in the Duke University rape hoax. On her blog, anyone questioning the guilt of the three lacrosse players charged with sexually assaulting an exotic dancer at a team party was branded a "rape apologist." In a particularly vicious broadside, she sneered at syndicated columnist Kathleen Parker for arguing that "unless the victim is 9 years old and a virgin and white and blonde ... rape isn't so much a crime as a feminist plot to put all men in jail." This wasn't so much hyperbole as outright distortion: while Parker had deplored the "rush to judgment" in the Duke case, she had explicitly condemned the notion that the alleged victim was less deserving of sympathy because she was a stripper. (Parker is one of the "independent feminists" on Marcotte's Slate blacklist.)

The true extent of Marcotte's hate-filled zealotry is evident in a profanity-laced rant she posted about a CNN special report on the Duke case aired after the rape charges were dismissed. (She later deleted the post when it became an issue in the controversy over her short-lived appointment as blog coordinator for the John Edwards presidential campaign.) Slamming CNN as "pure evil," Marcotte vented her outrage at having to "listen to how the poor dear lacrosse players at Duke are being persecuted just because they held someone down and fucked her against her will," and concluded sarcastically, "Can't a few white boys sexually assault a black woman anymore without people getting all wound up about it? So unfair."

Note the difference. Elam saw he got it wrong, and corrected it (not that that makes up for it in the first place, of course). Marcotte knew she'd got it wrong, and doubled-down. It would be interesting to see how the folk on r/feminism square this particular moral circle in condemning AVfM whilst supporting Amanda Marcotte.

I'm not saying the MRM is clean as a whistle. Clearly, it isn't (name a political movement that is!). Right now, there's a big disagreement about whether it's acceptable to post bogus allegations on an anonymised form a university has introduced for the purpose of drawing attention to the potential McCarthyist consequences of such an idea. It's a classic ends/means debate that is a sign of a healthy movement with people who genuinely care about men's issues, and want to make the world a better place, but disagree about how to do it.

No. But people who are anti-men's rights are allowed to doxx. People make up lies about this subreddit because they're anti-equality and want to cover up any wrongdoing on their part.

This subreddit certainly does not link to doxxing sites. It wouldn't, and anyway that would be against reddit policy.

AVFM has a site known as register-her.com that claims the following:

Register-her.com is a registry of individuals that have caused significant harm to innocent individuals either by the direct action of crimes like rape, assault, child molestation and murder, or by the false accusation of crimes against others for personal gain in one form or another.

I will say that based on the bolded I don't believe it's accurate to describe register-her.com as a doxxing site. They seem to draw their profiles from mainstream media or court records.

I think it is reasonable to ask if register-her.com always follows that policy. Sometimes I do think it's iffy.

Regardless, the behavior of register-her.com seems to be no worse and arguably much better than the behavior of sites like ihollaback.org that

publish anonymous accusations
that are not verified
and have no takedown policy

Or even apps like lulu

AVFM runs (or used to run) a site called "Register Her", where they created their own sort of "sex offender registry" but focused on women, and included shit like false accusations and people they decided were "bigots". It's pretty fucked and very controversial here, so maybe that's what they're talking about. But as far as I know, it never included any phone numbers/addresses/email addresses or anything like that.

If by doxxing you mean www.register-her.com then I'm afraid you'll be disappointed to hear that they don't dox anyone. They simply take publicly available information and link to it. It's like taking someone's name and number from the phone book amd posting it on the internet...that information was not being masked by any sort of anonymous online profile.
