We are. We're not marrying them, we're not supporting them, and many of us are trying to figure out to where we can go.

Currently the MRM is in the stages of spreading awareness and gaining support. Feminists and others who oppose gender equality can mock us for "whining on the internet" but so far it's pretty damn effective, support for MRM has grown 100-fold over the last decade or so, this sub will probably be at 100k subscribers by the end of next year, and overall, discussions of men's issues are on the rise.

Actual mass protests really aren't the most effective way to get things done IMO. What we're doing now, spreading awareness and starting discussions, is working pretty well so far. These things take time.

Because we don't have the ability to organise in the the real world. When the average person thinks of a Men's Rights Activist, they automatically think of an entitled white guy that wants to take away women's rights. You can thank the media for that. The only way for the MRM to ever get to the stage where any form of legitimate protests can happen-(for example, hitting the streets for male contraception like Vasigel to be released etc...) is to make it clear who we truly are.

It's too easy for a feminist to share some bullshit article from Return Of Kings and pass that rubbish off as Men's Rights Activism to the masses, when it has nothing to do with Men's Rights and everything to do with being a prick. I know that. Most of you know that. But the average person doesn't.

Until the MRM learns from the mistakes of feminism, and completely steers away from extremism, neo-traditionalism and people who are clearly not interested in equality and denounces shit like Return Of Kings as loudly we denounce radical feminism, then we will never be taken seriously as a legitimate movement by the masses.

We are in the early stages of this but it's growing fast, real fast.

A couple of months ago we were at 80K subscribers, look to the right of the side bar now we are at close to 84K.

Don't have time to actually read but one thing I feel being a man is not to endorse separatist activities. My wife is a feminist, not extremist, but reasonably so given their inequalities but in the suffrage attempts to balance the equation as a man whom has always sought fair treatment our relationship suffered at first because I was neutral and fair, she expected something to fight for, and in turn I was un equaled

But that being said I think that it's important again to not be separtists and join the feminists to some degree on where they stand because Manists and Feminists being two extremes will never reach a middle ground. so YEs they need to support our petty causes more and I feel if we make effort to give them space and room to be it should work... Can anyone say this better? i g2g comment so I Can find this again
