I've been on like 7 or 8 dates with this girl, and we haven't had sex yet. We've done everything else up to that point, and shes a virgin, so I was okay with it. I'm not expecting to fuck a religious virgin on the third date. She also pays for everything on her, buys me things and bakes me cookies and shit, so I wasn't losing anything at this time.

Anyways she made some joke calling me a "friend", and I sent a joking text back saying "sorry I don't do friends only". Then she replies with "well you arent having sex with me so I guess we are just friends!".

She was supposed to come over to my house this week for a movie (AKA sexual date), but she cancelled it for some school assignment. She remade plans to see a movie at a theatre instead (AKA no sex). Another red flag.

I jokingly replied "I guess you're right we must just be friends, back to tinder for me then ;)", and I haven't responded to any of her messages since.

I'm pretty new to TRP, so don't know where to take this situation from here. Lots of advice says to not act phased when a woman denies you sex, but this seems different as if she feels like she has a hold on me via sex. Seems like shes shifting me from sexual guy to attention guy.

I have a movie theatre date with her on Saturday, and have been reading about soft nexts. Should I cancel the date and ignore her for like 5 days, then try to get her over to my place? Should I cancel the date and ignore her forever? I don't want to do this situation out of manipulation to change her mind, I just want to get to the deed or never talk to her again. I was so close to fucking her though.
