In a world where people lie for personal gain, this world, if men are, in fact, favorably looked upon when trying to have a child/pregnant (it is a couple thing), then why don't they lie about it more often for personal gain? Can't a man also tell his boss there was a miscarriage, or that she changed her mind, after getting said promotion?

Women who are not pregnant take advantage of pregnancy all of the time, but do men take advantage of pregnancy similarly?
