Why doesn't change.org host petitions for mens' rights? Has anyone been able to get a straight answer? What efforts have been made?

There were two anti-MGM petitions on change.org a week or so ago. Where are you getting your info?

EDIT: Here, one of them's closed now, but the other is still open and has over 1500 sigs: http://www.change.org/petitions/united-states-congress-ban-the-circumcision-of-all-males-under-the-age-of-18-years-old

Also, I noticed that change.org doesn't have "allowed topics", they're sorted by popularity. If people aren't submitting men's rights-related petitions it's not going to be listed as one of the "Popular Topics".

Bigger issue: http://petitions.whitehouse.gov, the place for official federal petitions, does not recognize men's issues. You can label a petition women's issues, but not men's issues or even a neutral gender issues (or LGBT, for that matter). Change.org is one thing, but this is the official site for the federal government, failing to acknowledge that things like homelessness, suicide, high school dropout rates, homicide, etc are issues worth addressing. Of course, what should we expect from the government that created a Council for Women and Girls to address female issues, but has repeatedly refused to create a similar council to address male issues.

Probably for the same reason that we're banned from /r/bestof. They probably think we're misogynists. They probably think that not feminist = against womens rights.
