I've always felt that men are socialized to need sex in order to validate their self-worth. Men who can't get sex/girlfriend/wife are failures and losers. Not being able to get laid is a common insult - and often used by people criticising MRAs.

This article really highlights that problem. A man's worth should be measured by qualities like his integrity, intelligence, honour, sense of justice and honesty - not his ability to bang hot chicks.

It's certainly the case that your status as a man is diminished if you're a virgin neckbeard loser who's unsuccessful with women or a niceguy creep who hangs around and drops hints instead of taking risks and making his intentions plain. Of course, this is entirely a social construct created and enforced by toxic males like frat bros. You'll never hear women calling men names like that, especially not if they're feminist. And that's why frat boys never get any sex.

and "Good Men Project" is a condescending term to me, implying that men are not generally "good" and need a special project to help them along, so I don't read it.
