(Disclaimer: English isn't my native language, so I apologize for any grammatical mistakes that will be or have been made).

Many of you joined this sub-reddit as a way to balance things out with feminism. You didn't want feminism to keep going further, so you grouped together in attempt to make a counter-weight force. Of course it may vary from a person to another, but that's the vibe I've been getting from reading this sub-reddit so far. So it got me to thinking, what's wrong with feminism, why are we (/r/mensrights) agaisnt it? I put down the issues in five dimensions to get a better look at what's going on with inequality; economy, politic, justice, sociology, biology.

  • I will start with economy. If we take away any other dimension, economy should work regardless of genders. For example, a woman buying a 1000 bucks item has the same impact on economy as a man. A woman with exactly the same skill set as a man should have the exact same salary as the man. Because she sells her services, and that's what it is worth.

  • Politic and economy have a lot of similarities as we live in an economic type of society (That's a matter for another talk). A woman's vote has the exact same weight as a man. Also, there is no formal restrictions for a woman to become the leader of her country (in our culture-type of country).

  • Justice should ignore gender in most situations. Of course there are some exceptions because men and women realities can be different on a biological level. But justice should'nt care about genders otherwise. (By "biological level" I refer to matters such as abortion, pregnancy, etc. Things that men and women will live differently because of a biological reason)

  • Sociology or culture is an interesting aspect. There are stereotypes for women and men. For example, a woman is seen as fragile, pretty and sweet. A man is seen as strong, tough and able to take hits. Even though I am strongly agaisnt those stereotypes. They present the woman as something less than the man. How many times have you been told "Can you lift this for me, I'm a woman, you're the strong one here". It might be true, but I'll come back to it in the biology dimension.

  • Biology is where it all started (from my point of view). I will not go in a gender vs gender analyze of the brain as we know so little about it, but I will talk about our bodies. Men are stronger than women, in general. It is not because we work out like mad men to look fit and such, we really are, stronger, naturally. It has been the case for as long as we can remember. Even if a girl works out like crazy, not only will she reach her goal slower than a man, but she will also not break this trend.

You might want to argue about the economic, political and justice dimensions right now, as you think they are not just for everyone and take in consideration genders, unlike what I said, but I would have to agree with you. Feminism, trying to reach gender equality, attacked justice, economy and politic, when the problems are way deeper than that. Because of our culture, they will always feel less than men, that is a fact. Therefore, they can't see they are gaining more and more advantages over men, because they are blinded by the cultural inequality. So, they could come up with the most rediculous ideas to put men down (or bring themselves up) and they would still feel their equality threatened. So now, you ask yourself, why aren't they focusing our culture? Many tried, men and women, but culture, such as ours (multi-culturalism mixed with deep roots culture and biology) is almost impossible to change. Therefore, they try to compensate by going on other dimensions. So to me it comes down to this; if we can't change our culture, a gender will always be over the other. It is a scary thought, as a man, knowing feminism will probably win this one.
