Reverse the genders and this would be national news. His career would be over. He'd be apologizing to the nation and paying millions in damages, not to mention he'd have been beaten senseless by onlookers at the event.

The ability to hit a man in the face infront of a TV camera and suffer no punishment for it is a uniquely female ability.
