Misleading title. It's an organization specifically aimed at encouraging black women to set up tech companies. Anyone else isn't in the target audience.

Nowhere does it say that men, white or minority cannot attend the conference.

Also, the reason why 80% women/poc is considered diverse is because every other tech conference is DOMINATED by white male speakers.

You're literally complaining about a single conference, focusing on someone other than white men.

Hell, if a guy was smart he would attend this conference and use it to get involved with start ups that he normally would not be exposed to!

72.4% * 47.8% = 34.6% (Estimate of percentage of the US population that is white and male)

100%-34.6%= 65.4% (Estimate of percentage of US population that are women and/or people of color)

80% may tip the favor towards women and minorities (but you aren't negotiating from a clear 50/50 split), but that is what they are catering towards.
