What's with all the threads lately that take male issues seriously and treat them with respect and open-mindedness? I've been quite proud of Reddit in the past few days.

As great as it is to see this sort of thing getting this kind of attention, it is really sad to see just how many downvotes this is getting. On that note, I will keep reading these stories, it brings light to my own assault and helps by showing that I can actually talk about it to my friends. Hopefully this is a glimpse into a future where there is actually support for male victims.

There's some horrific stories in there. There's quite a few where the victim tried to tell people about it and was ignored. Punished in a few cases. What is nice is the lack of the "You had sex. What's the problem?" or "Obviously this is bad but women have it worse" comments.
