I can safely say that whoever wrote this "article" has either never set a foot in paris, or has gone to a very specific area and made up additional facts to make a sensationalist article that would make women and foreigners feel better about themselves.

Can't say it's specifically offensive towards men or anything like that ( besides the fact that about half the men in Paris have buzzcuts, which doesn't exactly require 24/7 attention...), it's just made-up garbage and sad sweeping generalizations emanating from a single experience apparently ( that part about how "all french men" treat women...may have a lot to do with the way that specific woman with such a distorted view of her surroundings functions and behaves... My guess is that he was just not interested and she should move on instead of becoming cantankerous).

God forbid that you should have to treat restaurant employees like human beings, eh? What an offensive custom!

For example, many restaurants close on Sundays, even at the height of the tourist season. It’s more important to take time off than make money. The same goes for August, when most of Paris shuts down so that everyone can go on an extended holiday.

Mostly wrong. Bakeries are usually closed for one month but that's because their closing time is decided by decree, their owners can't choose.

Parisians are great believers in correctness, comportment, order and control. They demand good behaviour from their children.

Like most of this sort of writing from women, she explains her bias as fact. This should read:

The men I am interested in pay more attention to their clothes and coiffure than I do. A handsome young office mate texts me often with messages like, “I am so sad all the time.”. A less handsome older office mate texted me something cheerful, so I reported him to HR. I like men who already have girlfriends, but their love lives are full of romantic dramas that take attention away from me.
