If anyone is interested in exploring this practice in more detail, Frontline did an insightful documentary on it called The Dancing Boys of Afghanistan.

The likely reason soldiers were told to ignore this abuse is because many high-ranking Afghani officials engage in it as well. It is not just something that happens in the isolated Afghan mountains, but is also practiced by rich and powerful people in the cities. Unfortunately, Canadians speaking out on it might compromise the mission and lives of Canadian soldiers, as well as the lives of the sex slaves. It's thus a really precarious, tragic position for everyone involved (except the "owners", because fuck them).

There's no way this is an isolated few incidents, either.

Does anybody recall any stories where Canadian soldiers were forced to allow women be sexually assaulted/where Canadian soldiers were permitted to stop allied troops from assaulting women? I haven't heard any, and am curious to know if the "you can't stop a child from being raped" rule swings both ways in terms of sex.

US taxpayers even paid for these so called "dancing boys" aka rape and human trafficking victims, and a US ambassador even advised the Afghan government on how best to cover it up

I have two nephews that served in country, They confirm. The saying "Women are for making children, and boys are for fun" came from both of them independently. I guess that's why the far-left exerts so much energy protecting Islam.

I don't know why everyone is acting all shocked. What did you think we were fighting for? We fight to protect the opium fields and to kill anyone who opposes our culture. What do you think teaching sex ed and homosexuality to six year olds in schools is all about? The state is grooming Dancing Boys of America. We just call it tolerance, progressiveness and rainbow sunshine pride.
