As far as I can see virtually every point she makes can be equally levelled at women's magazines - scantily clad women on the cover, dating strategies and sexual content inside.

The claims that they're a "gateway" to violent or deviant sexual behaviour is absolutely laughable and every bit as ludicrous as claims that marijuana users frequently end up addicted to heroin.

When will she start paying attention to under funding of adequate child care for single working mothers in the UK - you know, doing something about the female issues instead of spending time making passing comments on sexuality.

When will she start fighting for better legislative protection for women in the sex industry instead of sidelining those women on the covers of lads mags.

When will this pathetic example of a feminist actually wake up and see the important areas where women require aid instead of picking a fight with Tesco over what magazines it decides to stock.

It takes a feminist to use a law about equality (Equality Act 2010) for censorship.

edit: To be clear and speaking as a man, I think those lad's mags are a bit gross but still I think censorship is worse.

It bothers me why she'd think thats sexual harassment, if your bothered by a magazine with nudity in it then you have self esteem issues and truly you need to work on that. Lads magazines are targets at MEN and men love naked women, other professional men they would love to be and technology.

Women's magazines are vastly more destructive to women than men's due to the fact that every one will kill a women's self esteem and probably their mental health. From body issues to relationship crap a woman is more than likely to be hammered with things to change than seeing a naked girl on a porno mag.

Sadly thousands of girls are diagnosed with anorexia every year due to ads and magazines that are targeted to them.
