Almost always when I practice socialising and pickup at my campus I wear my best suit. It is bespoke, along with Hermes accessories and 1.5k$ shoes.
I have gotten a lot of compliments on this outfits and have not found anything that looks better. It is sort of my style and trademark. I wear this when I have to go do job related stuff in the office naturally. I'm not autistic (doc confirmed) and don't wear these clothes every day. But the days when I wear a suit are also the days I practice picking up girls at the campus.
I'm tall and fit, 6'2''. Thing is - this does not yield any results. Yes, I can chat girls up and they laugh and smile and even give me numbers, but never meet up. They always have "boyfriends" or just ghost me.
On a rare occasion when I got to go on 2 dates with an 18 yo girl (I'm 30, but look 22), she told me that I am dressed way too well. She was dressed casually with a backpack, while I was sporting my luxury bespoke suit, bling, H belt, etc...
That got me thinking - maybe I am overdoing it and girls see it either as tryhard and as not fitting in with them? Maybe both?
In one of his seminars this guy:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NfrOoHhGTIQ
said that when you overdo it looks wise girls might just be intimidated and can't really relax around you, especially young girls. And I aim mostly for young girls, because I look young myself and older women just think I'm way too young for them.
Is this the case?
I'm thinking that maybe girls want it so they can look "good together" with you, meaning that you help them look better instead of you being the flashy peacock who takes all the attention?
So what I am thinking - maybe I should tone down the flamboyant style, wear some more masculine, but everyday clothes, jeans, sweaters, tshirts, etc... to make the girls feel like I'm more from their social level.
Any advice?
