I went out clubbing last night with some friends and there was a group of girls that we know from college there. I had oneitis for one of them because she was living next door to me amd we had mutual friends and got along great.

Anyway I haven't seem her in a few weeks after she couldn't meet with me and said she would come over sometime soon so I decided to have fun without giving her any attention. When I arrived as I was going to our table passed through theirs and all her friends whom I know were there and I stopped for a minute to say hello, she wasn't there yet and then went to my table at the other end of the club.

At some point she comes over to our table and I was talking to a friend, I assumed she came there to greet all of us because we all know each other from school. So I make eye contact and just nod, hey there sup? and turned around to resume talking to my friend. So she leans to my ear and says : "It's for you that I came here", at which point I grab her by the waist and pulled her close and talked for a minute and then she went back to her friends.

The night was almost over and I was finishing my last drink. I had to leave a bit earlier thany friends coz I had shit to do this morning. She then comes over again amd starts talking to a female friend of hers that was there with us without giving me any attention. Then as she was leaving she comes to me, I hold eye contact and smirk but I did not say anything. She the leans and kisses me on the cheek then turned around and went back to her table. After a while I left the club.

I just find myself today overthinking these small interactions and playing them in a loop in my head for some reason. I guess I still care, but it doesn't matter coz she is leaving town in two days thankfully. Is it weakness that I did not chat with her for more than a minute even if she came over to see me? Perhaps she was being nice for not meeting with me. I just didn't have much to say, so now I wonder if it came off as a lack of confidence
