Disclaimer: this is a repost of a post I wrote in 2015. Thought it was a good primer for those new, or at least amusing for the vets here.

So there is this girl. You love this girl. You treat her well. You buy her things. You profess your love. You will move mountains for her.

Yet, it is obvious that she is disgusted by you.

Why?

Here, take these red lenses and take a walk with me, but don't put them on yet. I will let you know when to do so. Please follow instructions.

You see that hot 10/10 girl over there? Look at who she is walking with. Motorcycle riding asshole right? Totally would leave her the moment another girl comes around. Wouldn't treat her right. Please go ahead and put on those lenses now.

(You see a 6' 8% body fat man with a chiseled jaw. He's also a CEO of his own company, has a net worth of $100,000,000, and houses in four states. Next to him you can see that she is horny and wants him badly.)

Go ahead and take those lenses off now, and come this way.

Check that out over there. It is a feminist. Go her! She fights for social justice. She fights for equality for people of all races, genders, ages, and classes. She thinks the man is keeping her down. She is also fat, but good for her. It is what is on the inside that counts right? Go ahead and put on those lenses again. What do you see?

(You see an angry woman. You see that she does not support equality. She supports having what men have like equal pay, but also maintaining all of the benefits she gets from being a woman such as the following:

  • She gets doors opened for her.
  • She gets drinks and dinner bought for her
  • The fact that if you think she is repulsive because of her weight it is an outrage, but she can go on twitter and complain about how short men are worthless.
  • She can chop off a man's penis and get probation, but if you were to chop off her breasts you are most certainly going to prison for a very long time.
  • Divorce/Alimony/Child Support and Custody laws that favor her.
  • If the Titanic is sinking, she gets to get off the boat with the children first.
  • She will not get drafted to go fight in wars.)

Please remove those lenses now - I have one more thing to show you.

Take a look over there. You see a man who is abusive. He threatens his girlfriend that if she doesn't have sex with him, he will break up with her. If she doesn't cook for him, he will break up with her. He is manipulating her into doing things she doesn't want. It is out of her control.

Please put those red lenses on one more time.

(You see a woman who complied to everything the man said. Despite the man being a total insecure douche, she decided to stay with him for five years. We should treat her like a human being who can make decisions right? After all, women and men are equal, and should be treated equally. She is totally capable of making her own decisions as she has the right to vote, the right to have a job, the right to own a home and in general is a human being just like you and me. Yet, every-time the man gave her an ultimatum, she willingly decided to stay of her own accord. No, the man did not manipulate her. She made that decision on her own. She is not taking responsibility of her own actions and is instead shifting the blame to a guy who supposedly made those decisions for her.)

Wait - what's this? Is that the girl you like? Oh my she's an angel! Look at the way she walks. Look at the way she talks. Look at...wait. Put those lenses on quick!

(You see that last night, she had sex with your good looking, confident best friend at the frat party - three times. After she was done, she looked at her phone and saw that you had texted her 10 times asking how she was doing. You see her roll her eyes and try to cuddle with your best friend. Your best friend shoves her away.)

I have to run. Go ahead and keep those lenses. I won't force you to wear them, but if you ever want to take a walk again, drop by here - there are a lot of guys willing to take another walk with you.
