Throwaway account

I graduated from a small university in Wisconsin in 2014. I play in a band that regularly goes back to campus, and it's always been great, I thought I left a wonderful legacy there.

Suddenly, last week, we got a message from a fan who currently attends the school saying she was withdrawing her support because a bandmember has a history of sexual assault. None of us knew what she was talking about, so we asked and she said somebody in the band raped someone. We found out from other friends at the school that my name had circulated on a list of sexual assaulters during the fall. I contacted the school's sexual harassment resource board and title IX coordinator, who have nothing on file, but went to ask some questions and their only response to me has been "yeah, lots of people are certain you raped someone"

I don't know who is making the claim or what they say happened! I've been gone for 4 years and heard nothing! Today I reached out to all of my sexual partners during my time there, it doesn't seem to be any of them (I haven't heard from all of them yet, but I have good communication with all these women?).

What can I do? It seems like everybody knows something except for me? I'm terrified. Any advice would be appreciated.
