That is a good point. With those rather high profile cases with male victims you listed it indeed becomes a glaring omission and a reinforcement that feminism does not give a single flying fuck about men.

Gotta protect those poor defenseless women and stand up for them. Because that triggers primal instincts and gets them more applause.

EDIT: Terry Crews could also be added to the list.

People seem to have already forgotten that Kevin Spacey's victim was male. Bryan Singer's accuser is male. And nobody even mentioned Corey Feldman's ongoing efforts to bring to light the suffering of male victims.

You're preaching to the choir really but you're completely right, what's interesting about the whole MeToo thing is the feminists have quickly moved away from mentioning male victims and have focused entirely on feminism and the causes that ideology keeps peddling.

This is standard practice, when they do this type of thing, you'll note that they only ever usually talk about gay men harassing or assaulting other men. They do not want to talk about any male victims that might have been harassed by women and the reason for that is their whole narrative is that men are the bad guys, men are evil.

In their heads there is no way a woman can do anything bad, so they just go ahead and ignore anything that might come out about women behaving horribly to men in these social circles. The only way I can see this attitude changing, is if we just keep on what we're doing and keep challenging feminists on this sort of thing, as we've seen it is having an effect, whether they'll admit it or not and it's certainly making the next generations think about gender issues more carefully even if the current one and previous one doesn't give a fuck.

If you're serious about confronting sexual victimization, then all victims should matter. Singling out only those of a particular gender not only misses the point, but is a disservice to those victims.

Obviously we here would agree. Male victims also get it coming and going. The best defence for a female harasser is to just falsely accuse her victim of harassing her.

Not only have I experienced that but I took it to court in Australia and they basically endorsed it. I had complained repeatedly about her and other females and been told to put up with it. She had explicitly threatened me in writing (via email) for refusing to date her. I'm gay. I was run out of my job and she kept up the malicious complaints even after that.

None of the facts were in doubt and she had a history of making malicious sexual complaints. Didn't matter. The court deemed that I had been harassed (not illegal) but not sexually harassed. Because the only thing which matters is a woman's right to point her finger at any man and accuse him of whatever she likes.

It's because they don't care. Neither the men, nor the women, unless they or someone they're close to has been a victim. It's the exact same dynamic that leads to all cases of rape, sexual assault, and sexual abuse of men being ignored at best, mocked at worst. That's because at the end of the day, people don't care about men.

Nicole Kidman got an award. No one said a thing even though what she admitted to doing to Jimmy Fallon, lying about a film role to get him to hit on her, would be considered predatory behavior if done by a woman.

What if Weinstein had told an actress you have 15 minutes to convince me to give you the role and she started taking her clothes off, etc. I'm sure that would be considered predatory or at least creepy, unprofessional, and inappropriate.

Yeah this was my biggest problem with the night and the way that it is being treated by the media in general. They completely erase the male victims from the conversation. In fact, they even mention Kevin Spacey frequently (one of the biggest names and most horrifying of predators in the industry), but in the same breath will say "violence against women must end." It comes across as so disingenuous and ignorant.
