Not sure if this berin new years eve women-only zone is sexist or racist...

I don't think it's sexist because it addresses a genuine problem that women are affected by in many Eropean cities now. It's not racist because it's deliberately skirting round the issue that they don't want to address. They'll probably be advising women to wear hijabs soon to stay safe.
