so there is a legitimate reason for women to serve as police officers, because basically police has to engage with the public in some pretty fucking extreme and authoritarian situations (murder rapes, child abuse) and effective policing is most effective when the public trust and confidence is with the police force.

hence the argument is the police must reflect the public it serves so it can communicate and co-operate with the community it serves and the public feel it is representative of that community, you cant get a bunch of feminist man hating female witnesses to talk to male officers if they hate all men but if you need their cooperation in order to send some evil fucker down you would send a woman in, likewise if a small girl has been sexually abused by hundreds of men she might be unable to provide a statement or open up to male officers.

THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO FUCKING JUSTIFICATION WHATSOEVER IN WOMEN SERVING AS FIREFIGHTERS IF THEY FAIL TO MAKE THE SAME TEST/GRADE AS MEN.

fire does not care what gender you are, the laws of physics do not adapt to your vagina. get the fuck out with this bullshit you are literally putting lives in danger so a bunch of incapable women can "Play firefighter"

If women make the same grade and test as men and are the best candidate welcome them aboard, if not then they can fuck off!

personally if i lost a relative or loved one because a female firefighter was unable to perform her duties to the same standard as a male firefighter (i.e lift and shift them) i would sue both the fire department and the firefighter themselves, you take public money for a service critical to life i dont expect you to compromise it to satisfy a bunch of entitled cosplayers.

fuck that shit, women firefighters should be looked at with disdain unless they do equal tests and carry the same standards as men, as their inclusion of weakness undermines the entire effectiveness of the force.

Isn't it incredibly fucked up that we literally risk peoples lives just so a tiny percentage of women don't get their fucking feelings hurt by reality?

What oppressed, powerless victims women truly are when their feelings are considered more important than everyone elses potential life.

Good luck getting them to acknowledge any of this though, I've tried and the only conclusion they can come up with to rebuke me on this particular example of willful stupidity, is the same one that they always come to no matter what. That I'm "sexist" so therefore nothing I said counts or is valid in any way. (how convenient)

A lot of women only seem to be interested in equality when it benefits them.

The rest of the time it's magical oppression that only they can see.

Probably should say that you don't want any person who is not in the physical shape required to perform all duties in an effective manner saving you--you can remove the stipulation of gender from this. Women can be infantry in the military now, but with the stipulation that they meet the same standards as men, so the title should be reworked.

I worked seasonal at Toys R Us once, and was grumbling something similar. A female floor associate needed to get a huge heavy stroller down from a high shelf for a customer, but couldn't lift it and carry it down, so called me over to do it.
I don't mind that part, but in the end we're both getting paid the exact same, despite putting in different amounts of effort... and it's the women complaining about a pay gap? psssh.

The door is just a wedge. You have to push it hard and fast enough from the top to get it open. That's in no way how you kick/ram a door. The dude would fail in an life or death situation as well.
