Dude, don't live in Manhattan. Everything is way overpriced. Live across the river in Long Island City, SunnySide, Astoria etc. You get better prices on everything and the city is only a 15mn train ride away. Brooklyn is also a good option.

Around Union Square. Tons of 20s females in every size, shape, color, etc. easy access to East Village, West Village SoHo, Flatiron. NYU and New School undergrads and grad students. Also it’s near the modeling agencies HQs.

You can’t afford the West Village but it’s crawling with 9s and 10s.

I live in the area, you should consider moving across the river to Hoboken honestly. The neighborhood there is a lot better for late 20s male bachelors. Probably just a bit cheaper than living in NYC, but you'll have the PATH right there to commute into the city.

Hoboken is my goal where I want to live in late 20s.

Ok, LES, West Village or Meat Packing --- but, I would recommend a sublet to see if it makes the logistic difference you think it will. It might. Find a place you can live for 3 months and get a feel for it.

Even with roommates, you're going to pay a bunch more in those neighborhoods-anywhere in Manhattan below 86th really.

As many have mentioned, LIC, Astoria and Sunnyside are better 'value' options. After ten years in New York, I believe your frame is a lot more important than the logistics of where you live, but I agree that living near where you go out can only help.

There's tons of dimes on the street every day in WB/Bushwick (moreso WB) and even Manhattanites prefer BK these days. I'd say move to a sweet place in WB but I'm bias.

As far as Manhattan, everywhere pretty much has beautiful women, so you have to consider the other factors, like the restaurants/bars/night life. It pays to move to a neighborhood you go out in to make logistics easier and so you know the people who work at the spots you go to.

Meatpacking (already mentioned) is where models tend to go out to overpriced clubs with long lines of people waiting outside. Very expensive rent and everything else.

West Village does have tons of hot girls but it's kinda a girly/feminine neighborhood overall.

FiDi has a ton of modeling agencies with model houses nearby full of foreign models but there's no cool bars in the neighborhood.

LES including Chinatown/Little Italy/Bowery is crawling with models and low key spots full of hot girls. It's also considered one of the last true NYC neighborhoods but it's rapidly gentrifying/becoming less grungy.

Long Island City brotha... the housing bubble is popping a bit, if you don't go for the expensive new high rises and find something a couple years older you can live like a king for modest prices with 7 different trains within walking distance and nothing further than a 20 min cab ride

Roommates at 70k a year lol. I make 35 and own a house in NJ. Maybe move to north Jersey or even Philly and commute. The amount you save is ridiculously high not to mention dating in my experience is easier here then in NYC. Jersey girls only gaf if your jacked Philly chicks don't give af about anything. NYC dating sucks ass people always say there's tons of chicks well I'd hope so in a city of like 9 million quality is crap tho so are logistics. With your salary you could buy a block in Newark and build a castle. Roommates bro cmon. Change your scenary. My wife works in NYC in finance we live in Jersey as royalty
