What burns me up with this: I lost my career as a male jr hs teacher, mostly because a cabal of little girls pushed the idea that I was hitting on them. No. I wasn't fired. I resigned (which is what the district prefers). But not before I was driven to the point of a nervous breakdown and suicidal thoughts after a few years of it. I have narcolepsy and had severe arthritis in my left hip so I could hardly walk anymore. Getting an education with the narcolepsy was a day to day struggle. So...years of hard work so I could survive were so easily flushed because 4 to 6 individuals and their mommies, who could have cared less about their education were vindictive enough to spread rumors and complain to admin whenever possible. Being rejected is one thing, but being rejected on this scale with such ease disgusts me. My career ended...now I'm on disability retirement (thank God).
