Hey guys. This is my post on the mgtow sub about the new CNN piece that just dropped, and my criticism as a result. Just wanted to see what you guys thought and start a dialogue, especially if you've seen it or will see this post and go watch it afterwards. Thanks a bunch, and I look forward to chatting with you all. Here it is:

Lisa Ling is a self proclaimed feminist. She starts with the usual "women still have a lot to go in this society to reach equality. " which is pretty much false. She doesn't even acknowledge how many benefits and privileges women have in western society. Probably because she is ignorant of these benefits, and never thought to even ponder on them. Typical.

Jerry Liu, who is probably one of the best people to pick as "the face" of mgtow - very polite, a sweet guy, not angry, analytical, intelligent, non-confrontational is given about 1 minute, and it doesn't even break into his thought provoking ideas. Just the actual definition of mgtow itself. Absolutely ridiculous and deceitful job by CNN.

Big John, who in my opinion is not a good person to be "the face" of mgtow because he does more angry rants, is given a biased chopped up interview from a large 4 hour interview, and is given like what - 5, 10 minutes tops in the actual 43 minute doc? Very dishonest. It doesn't even really get into his beliefs, only the very surface level. In fact, the whole piece is very surface level and shallow, bereft of deep mgtow philosophical content.

The rest of the doc briefly touches on men who suffer at the hands of divorce courts, women who use the society's preferential treatment for them for a financial advantage, and father's rights. This was the most fairly balanced portion and the bulk of the content of the piece. This I don't have many problems, besides sometimes being vague and just the touching on the Genesis of problems that affect largely men exclusively. Overall, the documentary is predictably, so far away from what you would want to introduce to someone.

Whether or not we want to hit the mainstream, this is happening without us being able to control it. We are mainstream. Because of this fact, I am going to go against the grain and say that despite the commonly held mgtow beliefs that we should be silent, ghost, be invisible, that we instead should be more structural, more together. Yes, more of a group.

In my opinion, we should have the best representations for our beliefs - Jerry Liu, huMAN, bar bar, Stardusk, etc. To be the face of mgtow. Almost like a council of representatives. Because these guys have the most in depth grasp of mgtow philosophy and are non-confortational. I also think they are largely incorruptable.

I'm interested in what you guys think, especially if it's an analysis as opposed to just one or two sentences. But all is welcome obviously.

This is happening men. I think we should think a little differently this time.

Thank you for your time, Ben
