Yep, I spotted that article and that little line they put in as well, really now, why was it fucking necessary for them to put that in? It's almost as if they have an agenda and won't just report the news.

It was a long time ago I talked about this habit that journalists have but it doesn't matter how 'perfect' they think they are in their reporting they always insist on inserting their own opinions into their news articles. Many of the shit written up by news sites on either side should be regarded as opinion pieces rather than actual news because to some degree or another the journalists always have to shove their opinion down everyone's throats at some point.

If you think I'm being paranoid ask yourself this. Why does it matter to these people so much to point out that mass shootings by a woman are rare? Why is it that they had to include the line "If it is confirmed that the shooter is female" it was already confirmed that the shooter is female because she shot herself afterwards and the police have identified her.

My opinion? These news media outlets are so cynical now they're practically hoping that it's a man every time a mass shooting happens. It gives them more opportunity to create hysteria. Write click-bait articles and blame toxic masculinity and guns for everything wrong with men in today's society.

Journalists do not write up news reports anymore now, anything they write or record is designed purely to steer public opinion.

When things don't fit the narriative, democrats create another category. When it fits, they use a collective. An example is mass shooters. Blacks kill way more people in the US annually, but mass shooter is the only thing that makes headlines.
