Wasn't this thread recently made? well anyway.....

In my opinion, marriage itself is a con, this is just another way it manifests. I'm not a MGTOW, but if I am going to enter into a long term relationship with a woman, I don't intend to sign a contract with the government that incentivizes the woman to betray me.

[–]TheImpossible1 6 points7 points8 points 8 years ago (34 children) | Copy Link

I'm not an MGTOW

Why not?

[–]TheMythof_Feminism 17 points18 points19 points 8 years ago (31 children) | Copy Link

Why not?

Because I am a fool.

For example, earlier this year , I had a girlfriend that I was very fond of. I legitimately wanted to keep her. She was sweet , innocent and very attentive. We had fun together and I found her very attractive (obviously). I really grew to care for her and wanted to build a future together.

Unfortunately things didn't work out because she wanted someone more "exciting" she left and I chose not to stop her or even try to stop her, no one is with my by force; couple of months later she's pregnant, doesn't know who the father is, she has no money and no place to live.... GOOD LUCK WITH THAT SWEETHEART. I almost literally slammed the door in her face.

Anyway , if things had gone the other way, I would have legitimately done things right. As much as I KNOW for a fact that women are a poor investment, I can't fully destroy that part of me that wishes..... well, I'll come right out and say it, I want a son and I need a woman for that.

I know things will go bad. I know that, but I want a legacy, I want my father's blood, and mine, to continue in this world. I know that's cheesy and metaphysical claptrap but it's this indestructible urge I can't suppress entirely...... as I said, I am a fool.

[–]TheImpossible1 15 points16 points17 points 8 years ago (18 children) | Copy Link

If you're really going to go back to the plantation after that, I'd suggest at least keeping some red pill truths in your mind.

Make sure the child is actually yours for a start.

Understand that she will try to poison their opinion of you.

It can only go badly, but I understand some people aren't willing to cast them out of their lives, no matter how shitty they are.

If you want a child, you could try surrogacy, it's expensive, but no one can take it away from you.

[–]TheMythof_Feminism 6 points7 points8 points 8 years ago (16 children) | Copy Link

Make sure the child is actually yours for a start.

Yep. I'm not leaving anything to chance, nor will I ever raise another man's child. I know I didn't make it sound like it, but it broke my heart to shut the door in that girl's face. She looked pitiful, hungry, desperate and with hope that I would be her salvation.

Of course, she had already been railed by countless other men and the things I loved about her were gone. This was after she completely betrayed me, so it wasn't like I didn't know what she was.... still, if I'm not convinced by that, I doubt I will ever be convinced to raise another man's child.

DNA tests all around.

Understand that she will try to poison their opinion of you.

Understood.

My mother divorced my father when I was five or six, she immediately tried to turn me against him and continued to do so my whole life. I always rejected her lies and thought less and less of her the harder she tried.

When my father got married a second time, his two new children, who at the time were 15 and 16, both left with their mother and they both turned against him. I have never forgiven either of them, if I was able to recognize bullshit at 5-6 years of age, they sure as fuck should have recognized it at 15 and 16.

I know exactly what you mean and I will do what I must.

It can only go badly, but I understand some people aren't willing to cast them out of their lives, no matter how shitty they are.

Correct.

I have zero hope for the woman. My hope lies in the son.

If you want a child, you could try surrogacy, it's expensive, but no one can take it away from you.

Unlikely in my nation, but if I had a way to do it like that, I would.

Sigh.

I would say I wish women were better, but my father would tell me "Don't wish for things to change, or look for things you want, look at what is available and take the best you can get."

Your general attitude is right, it is a terrible idea that can only end poorly.

Do not lie to a woman to persuade her to conceive a child with you. Make it clear upfront that you can never offer her marriage, love, trust or respect. If you are willing to tell lies of that magnitude in order to get what you want, then YOU are the monster that you imagine all women to be.

[–]TheMythof_Feminism 2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (14 children) | Copy Link

Do not lie to a woman to persuade her to conceive a child with you.

That's a tough one.

I have learned in my life that a lot of the times, women WANT me to lie to them and telling the truth would be a horrible mistake. But I will do what I can.

Make it clear upfront that you can never offer her marriage, love, trust or respect.

That would turn most women on. Your advice is good.

If you are willing to tell lies of that magnitude in order to get what you want, then YOU are the monster that you imagine all women to be.

Oh, you were projecting? that's strange.

In any case, don't worry about ti, I only lie to women when I sense they want me to treat them that way.

[–]ThatNinaGAL 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (13 children) | Copy Link

You know, there are non-damaged women out there who you could be honest with and end up conceiving a child (not necessarily a son, so you'd have to do the emotional work to be a fit father to a daughter before getting anybody pregnant). Lesbians, foreveralones, women who don't wish to marry but still want to have kids- the Internet is a great place to meet other socially marginalized people who want to be parents but cannot or do not wish to enter into a traditional romsntic relationship with their coparent. Don't pretend that you don't have options, or a reasonable way to connect with your social peers.

If you have a child with a woman who allows/tolerates/enjoys mistreatment by men, then your daughter or son is going to grow up thinking that's how things should be, and perpetuate the cycle in their own lives. You don't want that for your child.

[–]TheMythof_Feminism 6 points7 points8 points 8 years ago (12 children) | Copy Link

You know, there are non-damaged women out there who you could be honest with

Not without children from other men, or without being monstrously ugly. I don't need a woman to be 10 out of 10, but I do need her to at least be a 6.5.

you'd have to do the emotional work to be a fit father

I hate children, but unfortunately/fortunately, I've been around children most of my life. I have been told nearly countless times that I will be a great father. Being a father is easy, however, keeping a petulant woman pleased is not.

Lesbians, foreveralones, women who don't wish to marry but still want to have kids

... you are a woman, you do not realize that those things do not exist in practical terms.

Don't pretend that you don't have options, or a reasonable way to connect with your social peers.

I never pretended that for a moment. I just acknowledge that failure is the only possibility when it comes to an investment in a woman. I know this and I accept it. I have hopes for my son, not for the wife.

If you have a child with a woman who allows/tolerates/enjoys mistreatment by men

"mistreatment"? what kind of guy do you think I am anyway?

then your daughter or son is going to grow up thinking that's how things should be

GOOD.

I can think of no greater success than having a son that follows my footsteps.

[–]ThatNinaGAL -1 points0 points1 point 8 years ago (11 children) | Copy Link

I'm not angry, but I'm honestly confused about the future you are envisioning for yourself.

  1. Being a good parent is NOT easy. It's achievable for any sane person who is willing to make it their first priority, but it's not easy.

  2. If you actively hate children, you probably need to take your family's positive assesment of your good-dad potential with a grain of salt.

  3. If you don't want the mother of your children to be your wife or girlfriend, why on earth should it matter if you're attracted to her? I was not suggesting a sexual relationship. Intimacy with a person that you despise and distrust based on an inborn characteristic is degrading to both parties. But an honest agreement can be reached between two people who both want children, even if they have no personal liking for each other at the outset.

[–]TheMythof_Feminism1 point 8 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Being a good parent is NOT easy.

I understand where you're coming from, I disagree, or maybe I just don't see it that way because I've been around children most of my life. I don't see it as "difficult" or "a hassle".

If you actively hate children

It would be different if it were my son. My bloodline. My legacy. It sounds overly dramatic, but I "feel" men truly have a desire to have continuity with the world. That's not the same as just "children" at large.

you probably need to take your family's positive assesment of your good-dad potential with a grain of salt.

It wasn't just my family, I've been getting that from friends and girlfriends my whole life. I know I probably come across as very ... not like it, but I am quite silly and playful in real life , however I'm able to keep it serious when it is necessary.

This makes children very.... I guess interested in spending time with me. I've dated women with children a few times and without exception the children always grew very fond of me... even though I hated them outright /cough , I treated them well because I was interested in their mother.

Your emotions are meaningless, what matters is your behavior.

If you don't want the mother of your children to be your wife or girlfriend

I never said I didn't want her to be my girlfriend..... I just don't want to get married because I see no incentive to sign that contract.

why on earth should it matter if you're attracted to her?

Well when a man and a woman like each other....... and that's where babies come from.

I was not suggesting a sexual relationship.

Then what would even be the point of having the woman around?

I know you are female so you probably never thought of it like this, but if I haven't done anything with a woman that I wouldn't do with any random buddy, why should I keep her around?

No, you misunderstood. Let me break it down for you;

The divorce rate is very high. Failed relationships are a dime a dozen. I have no presumptions of "YEAH WELL, IT'LL NEVER HAPPEN TO ME THOUGH", I know exactly what will happen. That doesn't mean I don't want to succeed, I'll just be prepared for it.

[–]ThatNinaGAL1 point 8 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

OK, that's a little bit clearer.

Women are also very interested in having biological continuity, but it's so easy for us that it's not a big topic of conversation.

I'm thinking of this from the perspective of your future child, who you want to conceive naturally with a woman you are dating. Lots of people who don't like kids think that "it will be different" with their own, and generally, they are either correct about that they suck it up and act appropriately. So that's fine. And you'll probably meet some woman at some point who will be willing to have children out of wedlock.

... but if that's how you want to do it, you might get a daughter. Or multiple daughters. Maybe no son ever. Can you be a good father to daughters?

[–]TheMythof_Feminism1 point 8 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

And you'll probably meet some woman at some point who will be willing to have children out of wedlock.

That part is easy but that's not the issue.

It's not difficult to find women, but I wouldn't want to start a family with just any woman..... I'd like to find a woman I have the best chance of success with before going all in. Thus far, I have not had any luck. That girl from earlier this year was a good candidate, too bad she ruined herself.

Maybe no son ever.

I understand that that possibility exists.

Can you be a good father to daughters?

That's not what we're talking about.

Anyway I understand it is an idiotic idea, I know there is a high chance that the woman will be traitorous and my son will be taken from me. That would be agony, but I am willing to take that risk just to have a son, my son.

[–]ThatNinaGAL1 point 8 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Sorry, I should have said, you will eventually meet a respectable woman who is willing to have children out of wedlock. This is the 21st century, that's normal now.

What about your daughters? Can you be a good father to daughters? It's really not ethical to conceive a child if there's only a 50% chance you will want to take care of it.

[–]TheMythof_Feminism1 point 8 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

What about your daughters?

Again, that's not what we're talking about.

you will eventually meet a respectable woman who is willing to have children out of wedlock.

Yet again, that's not the issue. The problem is finding a woman that has not had children before, that is not insane, that is not a parasite, that will be less likely to betray me than average, that is attractive and that wants to have children.

In return of course, I offer financial security, affection, a foundation upon which to start a family and unconditional support towards any project she wishes to undertake as long as it is within the boundaries of a lady.

You are a woman, I doubt you have children but I'm sure you might want some someday, what do you look for in men?

[–]ThatNinaGAL1 point 8 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

I am a happily married woman with five children. My husband and I have no children from previous relationships and neither of us are ugly, so I guess I looked for the same things you looked for and found them?

The reason I keep mentioning daughters is that I want you to think about whether or not you are able to care for a daughter as diligently as for a son. If you can't, then getting a woman pregnant in the natural manner is unethical. If you can, best of luck to you.

[–]TheMythof_Feminism1 point 8 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

I am a happily married woman with five children.

That's nice.

The reason I keep mentioning daughters is that I want you to think about whether or not you are able to care for a daughter as diligently as for a son.

Let's make a deal, you tell me what you looked for during your time as a single woman, mostly because I'm curious , it's not really practical advice [Protip to all men; Never take advice on women, from women], but curiosity is my weakness.... anyway you tell me and I will explain at length about the possibility of failure with regards to the son project, because you seem to want to know about that and I want to know about the other thing.

[–]ThatNinaGAL1 point 8 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

OK, why not?

Taking advice on women from women might be a dubious proposition if the advice comes from a blog or a magazine, but taking advice from somebody who has exactly what you think you want is generally not a terrible idea.

I wanted to marry younger than is normal in America, to a man who despised divorce as much as I did. I wanted to marry a man who was willing and able to make enough money that the size of our family would not be constrained by finances and I would never have to put my young children in daycare. I wanted to marry a man who did not follow any kind of fundamentalist religion. I wanted to marry a man who treated his parents with respect. I wanted to marry a man I was physically attracted to.

It was an unusual list for a 21-year-old, but I did meet somebody who fulfilled all those criteria. I think I was lucky.

[–]TheMythof_Feminism1 point 8 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

wanted to marry a man who was willing and able to make enough money that the size of our family would not be constrained by finances

Oh good point, that's actually legitimately something I hadn't thought about. Valuable insight, I will need to find one that doesn't want more than a few children maximum, no crazy 5-10 kids.

I wanted to marry a man who treated his parents with respect.

That's very strange to me, maybe it's a U.S. thing....

I wanted to marry a man I was physically attracted to.

I like how you left that till last, lol.

In any case, your list of demands is incredibly high and vastly outstrips mine by a factor of about 40.Then again you are a woman....

I think I was lucky.

Probably. Anyway a deal's a deal.

I have sisters, nephews and nieces. I watched my youngest sister and my nieces grow, I molded them, most of all my youngest sister , well half sister. I despise children but I did my best to not mistreat anyone.

My half sister turned out amazing. But I was a bit sad that she married some loser.... I had higher hopes for her. However, it is entirely her choice and I respect it. Same for my nieces.

I do not want daughters because it is the equivalent of preparing a very fine meal and then watching dogs tear into it with reckless abandon. It is unpleasant and seems to be a complete destruction of what one spends so long preparing just right.

I could raise a daughter just fine. I know how to treat girls and what they need growing up, but I dislike the idea because my daughter would eventually be taken by some guy and I have no idea if that will be a guy that will treat her well or some jackass.

Again, I would respect my daughter's choice just like I did for my other female family members. Every woman is responsible for her own private sexual life and has the right to decide without interference from anyone, not their brother, not their father, not anyone.

That being said, that doesn't mean I have to like it. In fact, I hate it, I know it is nonsense to suggest that I should have the power to pick for them, but I could pick way better men for them than they have. It is my observation that women have a terrible eye for men.

No, I wouldn't mistreat a daughter. I would raise her with everything she needs. However, a daughter is not continuity with this world, a daughter is not what I seek. I want a proper legacy to continue what myself and my father have done.

I'd love to prepare and train my son to be a great man. To do everything I didn't have a chance to do. To give him what I wanted but couldn't get. That would be nice..... anyway I think that answers what you wanted to know.

[–]ThatNinaGAL0 points 8 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Respecting your parents isn't a Mexican thing? Wow, TV has lied to me. Also every Mexican person I have ever met in America.

I worry way more about my sons picking a bad wife than my daughters picking a bad husband. At least I could help my daughters get out of the situation without losing their kids.

[–]TheMythof_Feminism1 point 8 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Respecting your parents isn't a Mexican thing?

Yes but I am not at all representative of the average person here....

I am estranged from every single family member except my father and my youngest sister. They're all a bunch of drunks and assholes that I want nothing to do with. Every single girlfriend I've had has pushed me to "fix things" with my family. Each attempt has been worse than the last.

I worry way more about my sons picking a bad wife than my daughters picking a bad husband.

Not unreasonable. Women at large are very dangerous right now and it is not worth the risk.

However, a daughter leaving with some loser , being completely ruined, it's like throwing away the nearly 20 years invested in her. What's the point?

Conversely, I intend to prepare my son when it comes to women. You see my father was a hardcore womanizer, but I didn't take after him at all, I'm certainly no "incel" but I am not the hardcore, legendary vag-slayer my father effortlessly was...... I suspect if I have a son, he will have my father's charm and my discipline. Best of both worlds.

At least I could help my daughters get out of the situation without losing their kids.

True.

But as I keep saying, you're a woman. Don't take this the wrong way, but boys need their father to teach them how to take care of themselves in this regard so what you are describing , doesn't happen.

Preach the RP. His story is literally RP through and through.

I want a son and I need a woman for that.

You are not a fool for wanting to have children. You are worse than a fool if you are considering natural reproduction when you know that you would not be interested in raising a girl child.

[–]TheMythof_Feminism 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

You are worse than a fool if you are considering natural reproduction

Implying there is some sort of alternative?

I wish.

[–]ThatNinaGAL 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Your wish is granted! Adopt a son.

... but of course, you don't actually want a son, since you hate children. What you want is to perpetuate your genetic line. It would be deeply unethical to get a woman pregnant if you were not able and willing to raise a child of either sex, because you do not get to choose the sex of the child she conceives.

There are certain artificial methods that allow for sex selection, but they are expensive and possibly illegal. I don't know anything about Mexican reproductive law.

[–]TheMythof_Feminism 2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Your wish is granted! Adopt a son.

I will never raise another man's son. I am not a cuck, I want my own flesh and blood to have continuity with this world.

you don't actually want a son, since you hate children.

Again, it would be different if it were my own flesh and blood.

What you want is to perpetuate your genetic line.

Exactly.

Finally you are starting to understand. Good.

I recognize that. I recognize that I am the one being emotional and choosing a path that will lead to enormous problems... they are right, I am wrong.

Jesus Christ, man. Try not to choke on all that cool aid you're drinking.

Solid counter argument, oh wait.

It's called having self-awareness. I want a son but I know the consequences will be dire, if that's "cool aid" you do not know what the term refers to, or are wildly misinformed as to the current state of male/female dynamics.

I ask you to do one thing, one thing, and then you go and fucking drown in it.

[–]TheMythof_Feminism 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Yawn, keep deflecting rather than presenting any counter arguments.

It , ironically, proves my point.

[–]Ragnrok 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

It doesn't prove shit because this isn't a debate. It isn't even an argument. It's me calling you fucked in the head.

Hey. You're fucking in the head.

The problem with that is, baseless assertions are meaningless.

They speak more of you than they do of me given how you seem determined to talk nonsense and spew deflections/ad hominem/strawman arguments/etc. You're just butthurt for some reason.

I'll leave to the third party audience to decide which one of us is right, gg'd kid.

Have you met them? It's like feminism all over again. On paper everything sounds fine, but then you meet the people who subscribe to the ideology and you basically can't run away fast enough.

[–]TheImpossible1 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

it's like feminism

Ehhh that was a clear supremacy movement from about 1990 onwards, protected by a dictionary definition that outright lies.

[–]xerxesgm 7 points8 points9 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Exact thing happened to me.

I've described it in previous comments. If you pull up my profile and look at my comment history, you'll see it.

My cousin who isn’t American, goes to America to study.

So later she got married to a Asian American, have 2 kids, bring her parent over, Divorce.

Come back here and she have a BF....

[–]ThatNinaGAL 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Why not just wait the two years and then divorce? It's not like our pre-VAWA laws trapped immigrant spouses forever. There was always a reasonable path to divorce for non-abusive marriages.

Not everyone can fake it that long

Marriage is already a bad idea.

it is a lot easier to marry a woman born in the U.S.A(or western country you are born in) good women are easy to find just stay away from clubs, bars, party types, drinking types etc

Brb, going to church to try and pick up some chicks

[–]bigbronze 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Chances are, there are some single women in there who may be single mothers who are literally wanting to find a husband. So it’s not a bad idea.

[–]Ragnrok 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

If I learned one thing in my freshman year old college (not an indictment of American colleges, I just never went to class), it's that repressed chicks are wound tight as hell and will get freaky at the first possible chance.

You sure about that? I’m Jewish, and surrounded by religious and non-religious Jews, and althought the more religious ones are definitely more reliable, they are all still pretty messed up. Out of hundreds of girls I’ve known, I’d say 3-4 were marriage material.

So I wouldn’t say “easy to find”.

On one hand, yes, these ladies look for a man that they can easily seduce, spend as much time needed to become citizens, divorce and become party whores (I watched it happen).

On the other hand, be smarter, guys. You might think you're saving that beautiful Russian or Vietnamese girl, but she is likely preying on you.

[–]thebrownman1998 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Similar things happen to women, I know one lady who was conned by an Indian man who married her, but ended up bringing his wife from India over and divorcing her.
