Many people love doing this disingenuous virtue signaling about transracialism, when they're full of shit. The real reason they don't like it is because they don't want POC to gain white privilege by whitemaxxing. People should be able to do whatever they want with their bodies.

Kpop idols are a great example of this with how much they trigger people for being "plastic."  They get injections to look pale, facial surgery and filler, and dye their hair and use colored contacts. They go from looking 100% asian to looking hapa (https://media.tenor.com/hDFmcnd-Y7cAAAAC/lisa-lalisa-manoban.gif) or like a whiter looking latino (https://kpopping.com/documents/76/5/220325-EVERGLOW-Twitter-Update-Aisha-documents-1.jpeg?v=20204). Of course this makes (white) westerners mad because they can compete with whites in looks and are loved all over the world due to looking closer to white. and of course white celebs get a fuckton of surgery to fit their beauty standards too.

It's funny how them being plastic doesn't stop opposite sex people from thirsting over kpop idols, which shows it's pure jealousy and gatekeeping.

Personally, I would prefer POC be happy with their ethnic features. This won't happen any time soon, but I enjoy seeing them whitemaxx and triggering people who think whites are so special. It's also interesting how men are allowed to claim to be women because women are less respected in society. But when POC want to cash in on whiteness, they get hate.
