Life can be hard. You have to take a break, do something enjoyable, do something that makes life worth living. Do something that creates joy. Do something fun. Do something that takes your mind off of the things in life that stress us all out.

Do not let others criticize you for seeking peace, happiness, and joy. There is nothing more mature and appropriate for an adult than taking care of yourself.

Drugs and porn addiction, that might not be so good for you. Maybe not 37 hours on an MMO, that's just unhealthy.

But a few hours on a video game when you're off the clock? Spending time with your male friends to do something? Taking part in a hobby? Playing a musical instrument? Fixing something that you like to tinker with? That is not immature. That is what every human being needs: to do something, other than work or life maintenance, that makes you feel good. A reprieve. If someone thinks that is dumb, it is only projection.

If someone feels the need to criticize you for that, for taking care of yourself, they are simply showing the world their immaturity. See it for what it is. It cannot hurt you when you now know what it is.

This applies to all human beings, and so, it applies to men, because men are human beings.
