There’s a section of this type of thing in Warren Ferrel’s “The Myth of Male Power”.

Just as women are less likely to be diagnosed with autism, they’re much less likely to be suspected as a murderer and often use less obvious methods (such as poisoning) to kill.

The upshot isn Women generally could be (/probably are) responsible for many more homicides than reported and we just don’t know.

Who the hell would take their own life, by stabbing themselves through the sternum?!

Infidelity is not illegal and neither should be the consequences.

People are entering into relationships with unrealistic expectations that need to be challenged and educated so that both sides can properly consent to the arrangement. At the moment I don't think women have any idea about the real sex drive of men and are oblivious to the reason men engage in relationships. Similarly I don't think men have any idea about the control women can exert over a man's sexual expression, how they can use access to sex as a weapon to extort what they want or how availability of sex will change during the relationship. This nullifies the notion of genuine consent to a binding relationship.

Society needs to facilitate more options for fulfilment of needs for both men and women. If procreation is considered important to the continuation of society rather than simply an economic factor, we need to facilitate an arrangement that provides for all, not traps one party in order to satisfy another.

We also need greater counseling and education to better understand our emotions and not permit them to rule us or others, and to deal with inevitable loss.

Win-win must always be our goal, not expedient discriminatory solutions that solve the wrong problem.

A lot of what you say about bad women weaponizing sex is true, but as someone who was in a deeply controlling relationship exactly like that, it was never a valid excuse for me to cheat. I'm not sure if that's what you're intending to say, but it seems to be what you're implying. Correct me if I'm wrong.

If men (or anyone) are in controlling relationships, we need to empower them to leave, not seek out extramarital copes that result in them still coming home every evening to women who use sex as a bargaining chip.

No, I hadn't intended for what I said to be interpreted in that way: I guess I failed in making my meaning clearer.

I was trying to point out the power imbalance that exists in man-woman relationships and the potential for women to use it to extort what they want from men without men being able to challenge or oppose it. It's something that is not widely recognised or discussed, except codified as jokes such as "happy wife, happy life" which is really a terrible indictment of how the happiness of a man depends on the mental state of a woman over which he can never have control, yet the reverse is not true.

What I was suggesting was having other options available for sexual fulfilment so that the choices for men are not simply have a relationship with a woman and "do as she says" or you won't get any. Leaving a relationship is no real option, because men are faced with exactly the same potential extortion situation with any subsequent relationship with a woman.

The fact that some women don't use their power over access to sex to coerce men to do their bidding doesn't negate the reality that the power imbalance itself exists in any man-woman relationship and is not balanced by a similar control of the woman by the man.

The only practicable solution is to get sexual fulfilment by some avenue other than entering into a relationship with a woman. It's not something that is generally canvassed in society and there are definite suppressions put in place to discourage men from doing so (such as stoking homophobia, imposing a financial penalty, etc).

I was not trying to extend the principle to other controlling relationships, although now that you mention it, the only way to stop a controlling relationship is to take the hold it has over you out of the equation by having other options to fulfil whatever aspect is holding you.

It's not even "bad" women: power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

I'm not good at saying what I mean, especially in a concise fashion.
