"She had committed a criminal offense." - for reporting a stalker. This is from a police officer who didn't even change his mind after her stalker killed her.

The more I read, the worse it gets. The murderer had a decade-long history of stalking. He'd tried grooming a 14-year-old girl. He'd committed sexual harassment and assault. He broke into her house.

The police called him "low risk".

The next time someone says women shouldn't be police, I'm showing them this story.

This is horrendous. So many women and young aren't even protected by the "defenders" they report to :(

This case made my blood boil.

He was very evidently dangerous. Just too many of these cases.

Why is it with stalking that the police can't do anything until the man does something serious (the woman is already dead)?? Is stalking in itself not illegal??
