Be an alpha who makes the money, controls the frame of the home, and earns respect and she will want to care for the household duties as well as blow you every night after she puts the kids to bed. Marriage is not completely dedicated to the female. Women now have Tinder and zero social shame for fucking other men. They make lousy parents - often neglecting their kids who only need a few hours a day anyway. The rest of it she's bored out of her brain, swiping through Tinder "just for shits and giggles". Until it isn't.

Marry today and you are the very definition of beta bucks.

Women today do not accept the "do house and children" role. But the male role is still foist upon us. It's a losing deal. It just doesn't work like it used to.

It was never that great... women 50 years ago used to pretend to hate sex (because they were not attracted to their beta husband).

I personally know a girl older than 25 that can not cook - always eats out, clean - pays a maid or has her mother come do it for her, do her nails, wash her hair - goes to the salon 2/3 times per week, vacuum - has multiple roombas. While I like to believe she is the extreme, I think the majority modern women lack the skills needed to keep a house. So your question, while interesting, is fiction.

Having a wife who doesn't work is the easiest way to set yourself up for long-term divorce rape. Either go MGTOW or marry someone who will contribute financially as well (preferably where you earn no more than 50% more than her - i.e. you make 60% of the joint, combined income or less). That said, even with a wife who is a financial contributor, there are still roles with regard to housework. I usually break it up into two categories:

Improvement: Things that will show a lasting impact, like fixing the deck, remodeling the bathroom, fixing the law mower, etc.
Maintenance: Things that will need done again in another day or two, like dishes, laundry, picking up clutter, dusting, vacuuming, etc.

Now, guys should be doing some maintenance stuff too, like mowing the lawn and opening tight pickle jars. Likewise, wives tend to like painting walls. Oh well. Figure out your own balance. The improvement/maintenance dichotomy works well for my family.

But at the end if the day, if you're married you want to treat the house like it's yours. Not "our house" or "your house, but she has rights too." It's your house. Legally this is an insane position to hold, but that's what's going to keep her interested in you. Women want to "have it all together" and they get jealous when they see other women who "have it all together" and they don't. They tend to marry men who they think "have it all together" so they can latch on to his success. Great. This is actually a good thing. That's hypergamy at its finest working for the betterment of the high-value men.

But what women fail to realize is that nobody "has it all together." That standard is a phantom that simply doesn't exist. If a guy imposes too much responsibility on his wife, she will buckle under the weight of it. That's why beta husbands are so frustrating and end up with crappy sex lives and a nagging wife. She feels responsible for all the work and since you're not getting it done, she starts nagging and complaining for you to do it.

Solution? OYS. Treat the house like it's your house, not "hers" or "ours" or anything of the sort. Notice how most girls get excited when the guy invites her: "Move in with me"? It's not, "Let's get our own place." Sure, that exists, but it's rare. It's usually him asking her to move in with him - to join in on his life. Act like the marital home is your bachelor pad and you just happen to let her and the kids live there. Of course, moving in with you means taking on some responsibility, and you'll delegate that to her as you see fit - but it's your responsibility, not hers. That's how you continue being the guy who "has it all together."

And when she notices a butt ton of things that aren't meeting her expectations you simply say, "You're here because you want to live with me. You don't have to live with me if you don't want to." To that end, if my wife comes up with something she wants done that isn't important enough for me to act on or delegate to her (example: re-painting the kids' rooms when the current paint is perfectly fine), she runs the idea by me. If I say no, that's the end of it. If I approve the project, I make it clear, "Go for it, but getting it done is on you, on your own time." She's okay with that. Result? The sheer quantity of "extra projects" we had immediately reduced to realistic levels, as opposed to before my RP days when she'd start a million things and never finish any of them and I'd get roped into doing it all for her. In addition, the house is now conforming to my expectations of what a house should look like. But of particular significance is the fact that my wife is no longer stressed out of her mind trying to "have it all together" because I'm the one responsible for figuring out what needs done and delegating tasks - not her.

If your wife ever has to ask you, "Honey, can you take out the trash and mow the lawn?" (or even worse - creates a "honey do list"), it's because she sees herself as the one responsible for the house and delegating tasks. How often do you give her a to-do list? In most marriages, that almost never comes from the guys. At best, it's usually, "Can you hand me the hammer?" If you're not telling her what to do, she's telling you. You decide which end of that you want to live on, and that sets the tone for who she sees as the leader in the relationship.

Well, for that tradition to work the woman should task upon herself taking care of his sexual needs as well. It used to be like that, but that changed.
So now basically the guy has to take care of her and his family's comfort and needs while his fulfillment depends on her whim. That's a pretty bad deal for him.
Bear in mind that guys that actually put effort into it can fend pretty well for themselves, committed guys that put effort into it create increasingly demanding and nagging wives.

I don't agree that the women should 'stay home and raise children' if you're implying that you shouldn't be raising children as much as your partner/ex partner is.

A sidebar post discusses how 90% of divorces are initiated by women, and I assume you have some appreciation of the detrimental effects divorce can have on children, especially when it results in the 'fighting' over the child(ren).

I'd conclude in saying that women are naturally hypergamous and selfish (no shit, right?), and will therefore put themselves and their evolutionary tendencies over the well-being of their offspring.

What if people weren't really supposed to be in lifelong monogamous relationships but the strongest of men were supposed to go around and impregnate as many women as possible? What if women's sole job was to provide and care for her young?
