No! As men we're goal oriented and feel like we need to "make things happen." Talking and being a girl's friend will never make her attracted to you and almost always has the opposite effect.

Dude, you have that backwards. She wants to use you for attention and validation and you get nothing in return. You're her orbiter.

When you want to make a girl a plate, or LTR some chick, and she says, "Let's just be friends," you tell her no. You say, "I don't want to be your friend, I'm interested in you romantically, call me when you change your mind" and then move on. Don't text. Don't enter their friend zone. No self-respecting person is going to want to "be friends" with someone they're romantically interested in.

And a lot of the time... They'll contact you, seeing what you're up to. It's that moment you arrange a time for fun and sex to happen.

Stop interrupting your prose with parenthetical remarks. State your question succinctly instead of squirting out tedious color-commentary on the random side thoughts passing through your mind as you state your question.

No relationship that I know of has survived the friendzone. Stop hoping. Ghost her.

I think the key is less is more. Keep your distance be very skeptical and keep it more business/sexual. Weed out the friendship part it does you no service. I'm in a very similar circumstance right now. I refuse to text her, she pings me every couple days and then did a shit test like forgot my birthday (but texted me that day.. I didn't tell her it was my birthday but she asked several times a few months back when it was and put it in her calendar). My strategy is neglect her from all avenues of attention and then when I'm with her just escalate quickly. Last time I met up with her at the casino got her back to my place for sex all within the span of 2 hours and then she was gone. Better to keep it this way.

Here's what you do:

Say "Yes, of course we'll stay friends". Then what you do is NOT BE FRIENDS. Meet, touch, escalate, flirt. Then distant, ignoring her, elusive. In other words, be attractive to her. DO NO FRIENDY THINGS. You are her lover or not, but you're not her fucking brother. Behave accordingly and so will she.
