I’m currently enrolling in medschool, and i’m in a group of 13 females and me. I’m the youngest, and in certain ways considered the «little brother» of everyone.

We had a party today, and this one girl proudly proclaimed that there is a contraceptive pill for men, with the same side effects as the female equivalent, but men were such pussies, so the male doctors didn’t want to commercialize it. Then all the females had this round of laughing and making jokes about how fragile men are.

This is not only wrong on a academic level, but it also shows the position of power and privledge that females hold when it comes to children and pregnancy, as well as the sheer ignorance of the consequneces a pregnancy can have for a guy. I personally would love to have a contraceptive, and i think a lot of other guys would to. I personally know people who either have children they pay for, who aren’t theirs, or they have never met their own chil, or they become dads way to early, or they have to take care of a child they never consented to having.

I enrolled in the hardest academic field to find intelligent and neuanced people, but sadly i found the same old feminist, anti-male, jerkcircle, that i tried to escape.
