If you want to understand these double standards, you need to understand the difference between intrinsic motivation vs. extrinsic motivation.

As a society, we consider men to have an internal locus of control and thus intrinsic motivation. If they are single, it is because of some flaw INSIDE THEM. They themselves are to blame.

As a society, we consider women to have an external locus of control, and thus extrinsic motivation. If they are single, it because of something society or men have done TO THEM. They aren't to blame for other people's actions or society's forces.

This division explains virtually every double standard we have in our society when it comes to men and women. It explains why we have societal programs to help women who want to walk away from their legal obligation to their child, but we enforce men's legal obligation to their child to the nth degree. It explains why the public perceives the same crime against a woman to be more severe, and the same crime committed by a woman to be less severe. It explains why the CJS arrests, charges and imprisons more men, by far. It explains why Title IX enforcement in schools assumes that a drunk male is responsible for himself, but a drunk female is not.

It's everywhere.

Later, the same word is used to stymie men.

It's simple, the feminist propaganda network only demonises men and as we've seen it doesn't matter how badly women behave in a situation they will be defended. Men get no such protection and that's why we get such an incredibly skewed view of the genders presented to us even on social media.
