The men told her-- and other women-- that for each woman who took a slot in the school-- a male would lose his student-deferment/ putting him at risk of being drafted to die in Vietnam.

I mean yeah, that's totally true. She could argue it wasn't her fault and she shouldn't forgo her plans because of it. And that's fair.

But it's still true.

The only reason there was a college gender gap in the sixties when Feminists discovered this problem that needed to be fixed was the boost in college attendence from men fleeing the draft.

Male privilege was having to go to college or be forced to die half way around the world in a pointless war you got no say in (voting age was 21, the draft went after teens).
