That is what we need to examine. Not the "wage gap", but the fact that women have the privilege of working less hours and marrying up. That men are expected to slave away for their corporate overlords to provide for their wife and kids, while women in many cases have the option to marry-up, stay-at-home, and spend quality time with the kids.

There needs to be a 50-50 split in which gender gets to marry up and be provided for. Otherwise there is not equlality
