Thoughts of r/theredpill on police officers?

Since everyone is just giving positive feedback, I will give you the other side of the coin. Cops are the paid white knights of modern society. In the states we have a dominant aggressor policy; a statute which forces law enforcement to view the larger, masculine of the parties involved as the perpetrator. You are going to arrest a lot of dudes unjustly.

Some police officers get respect because it is deserved. However most people in general have a fear of their enforcement powers. This is why some cops are the worst bullies. Realize that some will 'respect' you automatically, others will hate your guts, most will be indifferent and will avoid you to prevent getting caught up in something.

Everyone looks to you to save them when in trouble or in similar situations.

Please don't join the police force to save people. Wanting to be a hero isn't healthy mentally or physically. As a police officer you are called to witness terrible things, most that have already occurred. Imagine the stress your family feels when they hear a news report of an officer being shot? Imagine dealing with having shot some guy having a psychotic episode after lapsing on his meds? What does it feel like to be put on patrol in the worst part of the city? As to the physical, who wants to be killed or permantly disabled protecting property, enforcing traffic/victimless crime just to have a chance to save a thankless stranger? Sound like a paid white knight yet?

Blue pill job all the way I am afraid.

I think it is the most blue pill profession out there and I don't mean red/blue in the context of fucking sluts but red/blue in the context above that of modern corporate and federal slavery, or at least perpetrating our sexist culture. You are literally working for the system oppressing you and rarely can exert judgment on the big things. Did you catch some cool dude speeding? Let him go with a warning. Did you catch some cool dude being assaulted by his girlfriend who called 911 for abuse? Arrest the cool dude as the liability from not doing so will get you fired and everybody knows a woman can't assault a man. Catch some dude smoking marijuana, and you can let him go as long as he's not black. Catch some dude selling marijuana to his epileptic brother who needs it as medication and you have to arrest him as catching drug dealers, even if it's only pot and even if the pot is being used responsibly, is what your Chief wants. You're a slave for the system and if you are going into the job to reform the system, kudos to you but there are better ways to do it than being a pawn. 80% of your calls will be of the stupid system oppressing type. The other 20% you can be helping people in situations law enforcement is actually needed and not just used to enforce blue pill laws. Crappy tradeoff imo and you'll do more harm than good.

In regards to banging women it's a red pill choice.

Don't be a faggot. If you own property in reality you know that most officers ODed on power and are tripping balls. Even if you think you'll be "different," you won't be; because you had to ask this question on a forum since you care about the opinions of people you've never even met. Won't you then succumb to the overwhelming culture around you once joining the force?

I'm not trying to be a dick. I'm just saying that only great men can be considered good cops. Good cops will be hated by their peers. Not only because of their incorruptibility, but also because of their refusal to accept the corruption of their peers and their willingness to actively fight against it. Almost all officers are bad, even if they are not corrupt, because they accept the corruption of their colleagues as a given and do not expose their misdeeds. Only a truly great man has the strength of character necessary to be unfazed by this peer pressure. And, unfortunately, few great men are attracted to the job in the first place.

I believe in the axiom that while all women are perishable, SOME men are expendable. A RP man who is aware of reality should not opt for a career making themselves expendable by putting their life on the line. Your outlook may be positive because you are in Canada, but what if you were in Mexico? I don't see honor in the willingness to self-sacrifice.

I have seen police officers take the side of women by default on numerous occasions. Most put women on pedestals because they enforce laws that are biased towards women. I have seen them take away the husband when the wife was out of control.

Overall, the career itself isn't red pill or blue pill, it's you.

Missed the party, but what the hell. The profession goes both ways. If your beta the thugs sense it. They will run from you , lie and even beat your shit. If your alpha they will sense that too and will show respect. You literally catch mr./ms. "Fuck everybody else" and put them in their place. That's red pill to me. The skills you learn as a cop will be helpful for the rest of your life. Skills to fight, drive, negotiate, lead, communicate, and investigate. Pay is ok. I get to spend a lot of time with my kids. I hang out with the guys, and do man shit all day for money.

Hope this helps with your career decision.

P.s. I've arrested more women for domestic violence than men.

I'd say it is overall a Red Pill Career. Physical fitness, decent salary (which should be even higher, imho) and cool uniforms. Cops get a lot of hate, of course, mainly because there are some black sheep among them who violate the law instead of protecting it; but in general I like police officers.

I view being a police officer as a RP career. As long as you don't violate the laws and don't discriminate and do your job upholding the law well, you should do just fine. As for "you can go along with the woman and be praised but compromise your integrity", that can go with any job, really. If the whole IT thing doesn't work out for me, that's my next go-to career.

Honestly for the money they pay its not worth it. Also almost everyone in one way or another hates authority. Imagine having a job where everyone fucking hates you. On the other hand being Rp is about doing what the fuck you want to do on your own accord.
