Expecting feminism to be rational or equitable is a fool's errand, as you found out.

The point she's trying to make is quite funny though. That the difference in physical strength between men and women could be the result of the preferences of the aristocracy. She's combining Lamarckism with the apex fallacy of thinking the aristocracy was ever more than a few % of the population. Unscientific, stupid beliefs suit them perfectly, after all.

"Men do not..." - wait, wasn't it them who said men can't know what it's like to be a woman? Are they implying they know what it's like to be a man? Funny how that works, huh?

This is the kind of attitude and lack of intelligence I've come to expect from people like this.

Honestly, I'm loving the perma-bans that subreddits are giving when reality doesn't align with their narrative. It makes them look more and more unhinged by the day. Instead of it being subtle it's becoming extremely overt.

We're in the final stages of their insanity and in the next 5-10 years I suspect that movement will be more closely associated with an out-right hate group (think: KKK) than any progressive movement from a societal standpoint.

Men do not face the same type of abuse? So my ex who slapped me, pushed me, choked me, threw things at me, smashed my stuff, dragged down my self esteem every chance she got, screamed at me, threatened me, gaslit me, humiliated me, raped me through coercion, cheated on me, stealthed me by lying about birth control. None of that happened according to feminists?

The more I learn about feminism the more I'm convinced the feminist have 0 men they care about in their lives. I have a really good relationship with my dad (who is flawed, as all humans are) & my bond with him has always given me confidence in my life. I have had many amazing relationships with men. Cousins, friends, boyfriend's (even exes) & of course my amazing son. I would defend thier rights always. Can't we just ship all the feminist to an island where they can live their lives without the big bad "patriarchy" keeping them down & then they won't be poisoning the well between the sexes. This fracture in society is scary af. We need each other.

Hehe, I had very similar experience yesterday and the days before. Forget to speak about gender equality on this reddit channel. As soon as you speak about other genders, they start to freak out...

I was writing this:

I personally think that the best way to reduce gender inequality, is to fight for both gender right in the same way. So instead to fight for the right that woman doesn't need to necessarily look in a certain way, we should simply fight that any human having the right to look the way she/he want.

And I got as response:

Yeah you're actually wrong here and demanding precisely what I claimed.
Feminists are agitating for women; your "both sides" bullshit seeks to minimize women in a women-oriented movement. As long as we argue "for everyone", men's interests will be centered because men's interests are centered in society.
Demanding women fight for men instead of themselves is the same patriarchal bullshit feminism fights against in the first place.

Then I preferred to remove my comments before I get too much aggressive responses and loose my reddit Karma ^^ Her way of speaking sound very sexist to me and seem that they want to fight sexism with sexism. I don't feel like this to be the right way to fight for gender inequality... and I am very happy to have found this r/MensRights. However, we should be very careful, to not replicate the same behavior!!!
